"Gulchuk Electric answered our request for an estimate to remove existing ceiling light fixtures and replace them with new ones that we had purchased. Bogdan arrived promptly and gave gave us a fair and reasonable estimate for the job. He also installed new lights, breakers and electrical outlets in our garage and replaced an existing stove hood with a better one. Bogdan worked efficiently, cleaned up after himself and it was well worth the money to have him come and do work for us. We will be calling him again for all of our electrical needs."

"Hired them to install a tankless water heater, which required an electrical upgrade from 30A to 120A. They handled everything with the panel, ran the new wiring without any damage to the drywall, and kept everything clean. They also added can lights in the ceiling of one room, and installed outdoor electrical outlets. They were fast, professional, and incredibly sharp. Definitely a go-to place for all your home electrical needs."

"Very well. They came in and surveyed the house. Gave us a clear idea on how it will be installed and an estimate on how much it will cost. Gave us a day when the job will be done, and it got done. They also added an electrical outlet for our microwave which had to be mounted over our stove."

"The price was a little bit high. They had to do a lot of cement work to install this patio light. He built a substantial concrete structure to secure this light because of the high winds we have in this area. Yes, I would use them again in the future."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Pasco, WA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
