"Brevard Construction Company took out a soffit over my kitchen, re-routed duct and electrical work, installed recessed and pendant lighting, and installed dry wall, and painted my kitchen and living area. Dave was always accessible, which helped when I had questions or concerns after work or on the weekends. We weren't living in the house where the work was done, so it was important to have someone who communicated with us when needed. I am very happy with how light and bright my kitchen turned out and would use Brevard Construction again for renovation projects!"

"I wanted to be able to gift my son a kitchen remodel (he has a limited income and disability). I contacted John at VJA and right off the bat, he went out of his way to meet my son and I at his location to pick out everything! He had so many choices! Being on a limited budget, John suggested the "lower" cost items. Well, if the choices we were given were lower in choice or quality....I'd hate to see the high end! The choices and quality were outstanding. John made a few suggestions. Within a day, he sent out Justin to measure and provide a drawing. We had a quote within a day and in our budget!! The construction crew lead by Tom was excellent!!! They were constantly working around us and even making suggestions that we never thought of (this was all during the COVID pandemic and the Christmas holiday). The whole team was respectful, patient and understanding!! I could not have done this without them and they made this dream come true for my son and my budget! I definitely and highly recommend VJA always and hope to do more projects with them in the future. You'd have to be crazy to use any other contractor!!"

"Very happy with the results of a renovation which included kitchen, changing two small bedrooms and small bath into a new master suite with completely new large bathroom, expanded bedroom with door to deck and large walk-in closet. The reno included new ceilings, lighting and flooring throughout the house and dividing a large open room into two good sized living and family rooms with wall and French doors. Every inch of the home was brought into a new century with new doors, moldings, tile and paint. Jarrod was very helpful with design ideas and explanations of the process which included permitting and inspections. Pricing was fair. His team of professionals was great and fun to work with. His supervisors also made great suggestion on the fly that improved the design and usefulness of the space. His subcontractors were great as well. My only concern was that the process took longer than planned. But a hurricane can slow things down!"

"Edward Ryan worked with us every step of the way... he helped us get the designs and permits and did a large amount of the work himself. He has a great work ethic and kept everything moving forward. The subcontractors he did use were very professional. They did such a great job that you would have a hard time figuring out where the addition was put on if you didn't know where to look. I fully intend to use him again for home renovations we have planned."

"4 Years later, we are finally done with our “12 to 14 week project” that started with S&W Kitchens. This is after they abandoned our project, we had to get an attorney involved, and hire a different contractor to complete the project. Before the design was finalized, we reduced the scope of the project to pull out some major items. S&W revised their price for the project based on the changes we made. Despite the scope being significantly reduced, they came back with a price well above the initial numbers that had a greater scope. The information communicated from the office to their field was mostly inaccurate and caused issues. Due to the lack of organization, poor communication, inaccurate documents, we lost count of how many times things needed to be reworked. You would think a company being in business for 40+ years and having multiple locations throughout central Florida; organization, management, and communication would be their strong suit. We had 3 different superintendents over the life of the project. We had to constantly keep stepping in to get things corrected multiple times and keep things moving along. It would still be going on had we not done that. We needed to get the head of the field out of Orlando involved. Our thoughts were this would get things back on track. Reflecting on everything now, it accomplished nothing, dug the hole deeper, and wasted more time. We tried to get both owners, out of Palm Harbor and Orlando, involved to address the issues. That also yielded no positive results. The root of all the issues that were experienced trace straight back to ownership. This was a top-down issue where their decisions to have the personal in the roles they were in did not allow for things to work. When the owner describes in their online professional profile, playing multiple rounds of golf each week and walking their dog everywhere, you start to question if their priorities are focused on their business. Having company “retreats” in Utah where no one could be reached for a week when issues were occurring on the project was another upper-level decision we were surprised to see. Everyone we worked with appeared to have good intentions. They were just tasked with responsibilities that were outside of their own skill sets or limited by what management/ownership would allow them to do. As an example, having the designer get involved with coordinating, scheduling, or ordering of materials did not yield a good result. Stick to design, where their strengths are and nothing more would have helped. We wish we had known what we were in for prior. Had someone shared this type of experience, we would have sought out a different company. Our project was wrapped up in July 2024 by a different contractor who did an awesome job. This was 4 years after we started vs. the 12-14 weeks in the contract. During the first 15 months of our project, I witnessed a 25-story mid-rise go up from caissons set to occupancy and a high-end custom home go from foundation to the homeowners moving in. If you are considering having S&W Kitchens do your project, hopefully, our experience shares more insight into what can occur."

"Housmans Aluminum is fundamentally dishonest. They provided me with a quote for a screen room and assured me that it would be no issue to proceed. I even made a roof alteration that cost over $2,500. After collecting my deposit, they attempted to obtain the necessary permit, but the city rejected the project due to setback regulations. Consequently, we could not proceed, yet Housmans Aluminum declined to refund my deposit. Very dishonest!"

"JP painting were prompt, courteous, and professional. The price of the project was fair for the value delivered. We were amazed at how nice and complete the work was done in a short amount of time. We had our whole interior of the house except for the ceilings and closets painted and it was done in two days. The work crew was respectful, courteous, and stayed on task. Couldn’t ask for better go with professionals like the folks at JP, not fly-by-night companies off of social media."

"JSS Green Planet does excellent work. For us they tore out a wall fireplace, replaced it with a sliding glass patio door, added an 8' by 2' hurricane glass window high above the sliding door, redid a deck in synthetic planks, tiled a screen porch, installed LVP flooring throughout, painted interior walls and trim, redid a bathroom and redid lighting in kitchen, loft , bedroom and living areas with dimmable LED puck lights. Very professional and we love the results. Jordan's plans and estimates were right-on, Scott's construction was top notch and Jennifer's advice was priceless. We highly recommend them."
