"This project was a breeze. Hunter communicated when he would be onsite and how long it would take. He was punctual and did exactly what he promised. What impressed me most was how he kept me informed about the project and his total professionalism. I am going to use his services again within the next three to four months. I highly recommend him."

While you may have many different choices for landscape management, BBI is locally owned and backed by an established reputation. Brox Baxley founded the Myrtle Beach, SC, based company in 2007. Mr. Baxley built BBI upon the premise that residential and commercial customers wanted and needed to develop a working relationship with their landscaper. Today we are an organization with numerous trucks and people on our team. This allows the contractor to better understand the needs of the customer and take care of those needs in an efficient and timely manner.\n\nOur years of experience also include complete landscape & irrigation packages for new homes and businesses. New construction has its own set of challenges and we are equipped to assist you in all phases of your project.\n \nWith committed employees, professional and experienced staff, we are a full service landscape company, where our people are our strength. Again we are a relationship-based company and we invite you to contact us with any situation. We are here to help you.\n\nWhether your need is commercial or residential great service is always in season

Flagship Construction

In business since 1999

"Jerry Miller and the crew of Flagship constructions have thoroughly screwed me over. The new construction i bought, my first home, was botched in every aspect by flagship constructions. To begin with, the sod that was laid was spaced almost 3 inches apart on all sides as if they didn’t order enough sod and were using what they had. As a result my grass has died and it’s resulted in constant harassment from the HOA to have my lawn redone. Pooling and flooding killed the grass in the backyard, not to mention constantly finding construction trash in the sand left behind, some of which had cut my dogs’ paws. The entire door frame to my outdoor water heat closet has a crack going from the top of the doorframe against the door hinges all the way to the bottom; the crack is a half inch wide at its worst. I called and warrantied this issue multiple times only to find they hastily plastered over the crack - really?? The siding is coming off, every morning i pick up a nail or two before having to drive it back in. I lost siding during a thunderstorm on one occasion! The sliding glass door leaks and the lock was broken, nearly all of the windows are extremely difficult to open, the water pressure is a joke, the kitchen sink hardly drained and every single appliance in the house is cheap junk that breaks easily. The attention to detail is horrid, most of the flooring under the stove was completely unsecured. These are only the major issues. Worst of all, while trying to seek legal action against jerry miller for constantly dodging calls, texts and emails in response to my warranty issues, he quit and left. Flagship constructions are scam artists and thieves. If you value your hard earned money, do not use these commercial-grade scum bags"

FAQs for outdoor lighting plan and installation projects in Georgetown, SC

Permit requirements for outdoor lighting vary depending on your location and project scope. Simple fixture replacements don't require permits, but projects involving new electrical circuits, extensive trenching, or significant system expansions often do. Local building departments establish these requirements, and many professional electricians handle permit applications as part of their service package.

The timeline for outdoor lighting installation varies based on project complexity. Basic systems might require only one to two days for complete installation, while extensive lighting networks with numerous fixtures and complex wiring needs could extend to a week or longer. Weather conditions, property accessibility, and soil characteristics can all influence how quickly professionals can complete your installation.

Outdoor lighting offers both practical and aesthetic benefits that many homeowners find valuable. Beyond enhancing nighttime visibility and security, well-designed lighting can highlight architectural features and extend outdoor living hours. While installation represents a significant investment, quality lighting may potentially increase property appeal and could contribute to overall home value.

Some outdoor lighting projects are suitable for homeowner installation, particularly simple solar fixtures or low-voltage systems that plug into existing outlets. However, projects requiring new electrical connections, permanent wiring, or integration with home electrical systems demand professional expertise. Electrical work carries inherent safety risks, and improper installation could create fire hazards or code violations.

The operating cost for outdoor lighting depends primarily on your fixture types, bulb selection, and usage patterns. Energy-efficient LED fixtures consume significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent or halogen alternatives. Controlling your lighting with timers, photocells, or motion sensors can further reduce energy usage by ensuring lights operate only when needed or beneficial.
