"Ken is really knowledgeable, he came into a situation where the contractor had ripped the room apart and had disconnected many different wires. The disconnection affected another bedroom and partially my living room. Ken was able to access the situation and put everything back together. He added all the new wiring we needed (fan, lighting, outlets, 3-way switch) and got everything working in a short time. I really appreciate his skill level and ability to troubleshoot. All said I will be calling them back in the future for sure. Did I say he works quickly, he finished the work in just a little over 5hrs. Amazing. "I called Oliver Beer of Bauhaus because he had done work for us last fall. He gave me an estimated price that was agreeable. Once he started work he discovered, that like the windows he had installed in our garage last fall, the bathroom needed more work than estimated. Because my husband was going to be released from rehab in a matter of weeks, it was work that needed completion as soon as possible. Oliver worked week-ends and the 4th of July, for a total of 30+ days, removing the old plaster and putting up new wallboard. He got the old tub out and put in a beautiful shower floor; installed a new heating element; ceiling fan/light; a new medicine cabinet, flush and vanity sink. It took him more than 300 hours to give us a showroom quality bath. Incidentally, he painted our living room so that it would be comfortable for my husband to spend most of his time in. This older house challenged him at every project he started, whether it was the plumbing, ceiling lights or lack of outlets in the living room. i will certainly hire him if we need more work done in the done in the future"

"Jeremy was very enthusiastic about this project.  He had great ideas about lighting design, advice for AV setup, and ways to keep costs down without sacrificing overall quality.  He was able to offer creative suggestions, listen to concerns, and adapt his ideas to fit those concerns.  The original plan did not include rewiring the basement.  He pointed out a number of safety issues.  Even though it added significantly to the cost, he brought the basement up to code, and we are glad we did it.  Everything works better and it is safe.  The lighting work ended up being significantly cheaper because he believed we did not need nearly as many lights as we originally planned.  As I look at our completed project, he was right.  The lighting is perfect.  We also had a request to put the center channel speaker in an unusual location.  He voiced his concern, but agreed to do what we wanted.  Again, he was right.  It sounded terrible.  He moved the speaker to right spot (which required some rewiring) with no fuss.  It sounds fantastic.  I would highly recommend Sound Electric."

"Chris showed up right on time (and called ahead to see when I wanted him to arrive). From the moment he knocked on my door, it was pure professionalism -- he paid attention to detail, kept my place clean, answered all my questions and did a awesome job on installing the lights. My living room looks incredible. The only downside was the job ended up costing more than the deal, but that was completely due to the wiring in my condo, not anything have to do with Chris or Mr. Electric. I will use them again (I asked for a quote on installing a ceiling fan and he gave me prices right there and lots of coupons to use). Very highly recommended.
