I contacted more than a handful of various contractors in the area (many who didn't even returm my call) and finally decided to book Mr. Handyman. I am very particular about work done on our house, so I arranged to have a 1-hour consulation meeting with Michael (the tech doing the work) to discuss what he planned to do, the materials he would use, and methods he would employ for the project. I met with Michael and was very impressed with his experince and knowledge. On project day, he came out to our house at the scheduled time, removed the old trim, and installed the new trim in a VERY timely manner. The new trim looks wonderful, and I am totally satisfied with the result. Michael was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Also, the customer support personnel I interacted with at Mr. Handyman were very pleasant and professional. The total cost of the job was quite reasonable too. "I couldn’t be more impressed and happy with the work that Mr Mueller did on our property. We had an old, unsafe landing on the water at our property. We also had a very steep concrete pathway down to the landing which wasn’t safe either. All of the work was going to be a challenge considering the landscape and being that our home is on Lake Hartwell, Mr Mueller had to work within the guidelines of the Army Corp of Engineers which was even more challenging. He provided the Army Corp with detailed documentation they required and got to work. The landing and custom staircase that he built on top of the concrete pathway is beautiful and will surely last for many years. "Matt Bunn and the crew and subs from Wheelhouse Construction transformed an unfinished store room on the second floor of my 1937 home into a beautiful, modern bathroom and walk in closet. I told Matt what I was looking for and he designed the project in a computer program that showed plan and 3D elevations that enabled me to envision the finished project. This was a very complex undertaking and Wheelhouse handled it flawlessly. There was no plumbing in the end of the house where the new bath was to go. So Matt's crew had to figure out how to get supply and drain lines into the area. It required breaking into walls on the first floor and in the basement--but the crew was careful place temporary barriers to contain dust and debris while the work progressed. Budget allowances were provided for flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, etc. The allowances were, for the most part, realistic. So they were able to bring the job to completion very close to the original estimate. I am very pleased with the results and can wholeheartedly recommend Wheelhouse for any renovation or new construction project that you may want to undertake."
