"BlueSel Home Solar did an outstanding job of installing my 7kW residential solar system in May of 2018! They were prompt in getting me information on the design and pricing, which was very competitive. They took care of all applications with the utility and state, as well as permitting with the town. My panels look great and we have had no issues with the SunPower panels or the SolarEdge inverter. In the first year of installation, my total electric cost was $55 ... For the year! I would highly reccommend this product from BlueSel Home Solar!"

"He had evaluated the basement leak earlier in the week, and gave me an estimate for the work. We agreed on the start date, and signed the contract prior to starting. He started on the third floor and worked his way to the basement. He was assisted by his son who is a carpenter. The drain was located and exposed in each kitchen and removed in sections. They made as few and small holes as possible. The cast iron pipe removed was clearly clogged and showed other signs of potential leaks. The drain was replaced from top to bottom, using PVC. The insulation was replaced in the walls, and where there had been none, installed in that stud bay. The holes were covered with sheet rock, taped, and covered neatly with joint compound. Cabinets that had been removed were replaced properly. He corrected a vent stack attachment that had been missing in the basement. He was always willing to describe what he was doing and why. When there was a choice to be made, he consulted me. I was present the entire time. It was a big project, taking about 12 hours. He was responsive to my request that the work be completed that day. They vacuumed and swept the debris and removed the bags."

FAQs for solar panels for electric system repair projects in Pembroke, MA

Solar panels are fairly low-maintenance, but they do need occasional attention. A quick wash a couple of times a year and a yearly professional inspection help maintain efficiency. Watch for cracked glass, loose wiring, or hail damage; small fixes cost far less than waiting until output drops. If a panel is badly shattered, replacement—handled by a licensed pro—is often the smarter call.

Most panels last 25 to 50 years, so replacement is rare. Swap them out only when output drops noticeably, the warranty has run its course, or storm damage makes repairs impractical. Track your production data; if efficiency continues to slip even after minor fixes, it’s time to consult a solar installation professional and consider replacing a panel.

Homeowners are accountable for solar panel repairs unless their system is under a leasing agreement. Warranty coverage may reduce repair expenses for specific components. Warranty protection covers repairs when panels fail due to installation errors or unexplained issues. However, if a unit cracks due to an impact, the homeowner is responsible.

Always contact your installer and review your warranty before initiating repairs. Many manufacturers offer warranties ranging from 10 to 20 years. Inverters have a 10-year warranty, panels carry a minimum five-year workmanship warranty, and the overall system is protected for 25 years.
