"The technician who performed the service, Joshua, did a very good job. My complaint is that prior to another technician even leaving the shop, I called and reminded customer service that my furnace is in the attic so the proper ladder would be on the truck. The first technician that arrived, later than stated, informed me he was on limited duty and could not go into the attic. He called his dispatcher and left. Eventually Joshua arrived after I had to reorganized all of my morning appointments while waiting for someone to show up who could do the job. I am irritated that no one reached out to me and offered an apology for the confusion or to keep me informed as to when the second tech would be arriving, I am very disappointed that the company did not cared about their screw up. I am very disappointed! Customer Service and Dispatch failed to communicate in sending out a technician."

"We were very pleased by the good communication at the start of the work.  Dan took time to review the various options regarding the work that we wanted done, what the pros and cons were of the options and how much each of them would cost so that we could come to an agreement on everything before the work was started.  He was also very patient and flexible when we changed our minds about certain details (e.g. the placement of the cabinets that were moved in the basement) and checked with us throughout each of the different processes to make sure that we were satisfied (example: when we purchased the home most of the windows in the house would not open, the spring controls were all old and mostly broken.  In doing the repairs he had us test each window to make sure that we were satisfied with the exact tension that was set on the new spring controls to make sure it was ideal in each case.)  We knew when we purchased the home that water damage had been a significant issue and were glad that he helped us identify ways to help prevent or minimize this issue in the future, on both the inside and outside of the house.  The interior of the house had very minimal overhead lighting which is something we wanted.  Instead of just installing the overhead lights, Dan identified that the wiring throughout was not up to current code, so he rewired throughout to bring it up to standard.  There were a couple of repair issues that we wanted to take care of that were outside of what D&D does (fireplace and sprinklers), but although D&D could not do these repairs themselves, they gave us good referrals to other professionals in the area.  On the whole, we feel that the work that D&D did for us has made our new home both safer and more comfortable and user friendly, and are very pleased with the results. <br>"
