The work was completed as scheduled and I was very pleased with the work done. CJ's Home Maintenance also repaired exterior steps by leveling and shoring them up to make them safe and usable. They painted the exterior front house door and windowed side panels, which looks great and adds curb appeal! There were no additional costs and I paid the quoted price. "Tom was hard-working, meticulous, and polite throughout the long process of renovating a section of our basement. Sometimes working with an assistant, he repaired walls that had been damaged by water. He removed a shelf and some unnecessary trim that had been attached to walls, then repaired areas underneath. He scraped and removed paint from existing walls (including several types of wall material -- drywall and exposed stone), woodwork, etc. He cleaned and painted four window well areas which had been covered with years of grime and debris. He carefully painted ceiling, which consisted of many exposed pipes, valves and fixtures, using a dark brown paint in order to camouflage those previously very visible and ugly features.  He repaired drywall in many areas of both rooms. He painted the walls, the trim, the doors, the stairwell, and the stairs."

"Overall, we are very pleased with the work they did. We could quibble that the bathroom walls did not end up ‘like new’ as some might prefer and that, after the work was done, I discovered a problem that I addressed on my own. The plaster did not come close enough to the new electrical workboxes that had been installed and the area between two workboxes was left rough. Caserta would likely have fixed this if I had noticed it during the job or had asked them to come back but I thought it easier to just fix it myself. Other parts of the job, like the kitchen ceiling and bathroom trim, ended up far better than we thought possible. They spent more time on the job than we expected, given the price we paid, and their workers were congenial and professional. We definitely recommend them and would hire them again."

"I hired Joe and his very small, talented team for a full exterior house painting job, and kept hiring him to do more and more work as I rehabbed my house for sale because his work is just that excellent! He's reliable, high-quality, personable, honest, well-priced and pays attention to all of the details. I'd hire him again in a second and cannot recommend him strongly enough! When I called a former customer of his for a reference -- before I hired him the first time -- the lady actually told me that she would've been ready to give Joe her first born. I laughed, thought she was being over the top. But I did hire him after hearing that. He did a fabulous job painting the outside of my house. Then, he did work for me on jobs that spanned several months and I totally get why she said it. Hire him!!"

"I haven't reviewed that one because that was a disaster. The thing is I tried to get my money back through Angie's List, in the end Paul at Meistersinger actually did give me a paraded portion of my money back so I felt like in the end it was settled fairly so I don't really wanna like you know I don't want to generate the guy's reputation. He just wasn't very professional. I mean he was late the two days he was here, he ended up leaving early both days, he didn't call me to tell me he was gonna leave early on the second day, he just left me a note on my stairs. He didn't get a full room painted, he was very slow, he spilled paint, he cursed I mean he just didn't seem like a professional painter."

"Jim's work is outstanding.  He timely performed the work.  He maintained great communication with us about the work to be performed.  He answered all our questions and was easily reached when we needed to discuss the project.  We are very happy with the finished product.  The walls and trim look fantastic.  Also, he cleaned up from the painting and left the work area spotless!  Our project started small, but grew to include additional work.  Jim handled defining the scope of our project very professionally.  He performed all the labor himself, and did not bring in extra help.
