Reviews of Philadelphia Skylight Repair Contractors

Project: Repair, Replace or Seal an Existing Skylight
Southampton, PA

I rarely comment on these types of sites, but Pablo and his crew at Paragon deserve a major-league shout-out, so here goes.... Initially, it should be understood that, by my nature, I am critical. Very critical. Just ask my wife.... But from day-one, Pablo and Paragon exceeded my every expectation, from showing up at exactly 0700 on the first day for the free estimate, to repeating this at every point thereafter. By way of quick background, we had a skylight replaced, along with a new residential roof. Having both jobs done simultaneously saved me about $1,000, and all materials were industry top-in-class. And the amazing part of this was that everything was completed in a single, 11.5-hour day, from taking off the old roof, installing the new one, installing the skylight, and cleanup. A true model of efficiency in a time where this is harder and harder to find. A few other comments follow. * The prep work is key for a roof replacement to avoid damage to shrubs, existing structures, etc., and the team took every precaution in this regard to avoid any damage, and there was none. * There was no deposit required, something that originally perplexed me. I've had numerous projects completed at our Holland residence in the past 21 years, and this was a first. It also told me that Paragon must have high confidence in the quality of its work and the corresponding customer satisfaction. And now I see why.... * There was an existing frame for a patio awning affixed to the old roof, and in that we had grown tired of this, it was removed. This created an issue with the siding, where there were now several holes where the awning's framing had been adhered. But Pablo said it would be no problem to fix that, and he did so for no additional charge. I'd thought for sure that I'd have to call the siding guys back out to address that issue. Oh, and BTW, Paragon's siding guy (Julio) came on a Sun morning to complete this to get it over with. Again, what contractor provides this level of service on a Sun morning. Only one - Paragon.... * After the job was completed, Paragon accepted full payment on my Amex travel-card, so not only does this defer the actual payment by about 30 days, the accrued Hilton points will deliver at least one free night at any Hilton! * Pablo, the company front-man (my words), was knowledgeable, polite, respectful, and business-like. My wife liked him from day-one (perhaps since, at his first visit, he took the time to put shoe-covers on before entering the house). Wives notice thoses things.... My wife also couldn't get over the fact that the whole roofing job was completed in a day, but it goes to show that when you have a focused team with a strong work-ethic and good leadership, great things are possible. * Even our dog loved Pablo, and she's very finicky.... In closing, I can't say enough good things about Pablo, his company, and his crew. I kept waiting for that inevitable misstep or something to go wrong, as always seems to occur when you have a major residential project with numerous workers, but that never occurred. And now, we have a new roof and skylight, a 30-day window within which to pay for it, and a nice bump to my Hilton Honors account. I'm now looking around for the next home project for Paragon.... He came out to look at the skylight and fixed it on the spot.

Chris was the technician. He replaced 4 vent boots and caulked around 2 skylights. He was fast, efficient, and very professional. I've never dealt with this company before, but would highly recommend them and will use them again.
