"After researching and talking with other window installers, we decided to go with Jackson Egress. After several emails and them coming out to check the existing window, we agreed to the to have the 48x48 slider installed. My wife wanted the larger window for getting more light into the basement and I wanted the larger window so I could bring large objects into the basement. It was going to take over a month to get to our window but we agreed to the wait They arrived promptly at 8 as promised and began working. After working a little while I was informed that they would not be able to install the 48x48 and could only install the smaller window (no price difference). When my wife began to have reservations about the smaller window they acted as if they were going to just stop working and leave. Not wanting to have to wait months longer and wanting to start our basement remodel as soon as possible, we reluctantly agreed to the smaller window. On the plus side, they were punctual, respected our property and worked very hard to professionally install the window that they wanted to install. When everything was finished it looked great but I would not use their service again."

"The installation was quick, with limited demo to my finished basement. I had water seeping in under my baseboards and saturating the carpet during heavy rains. The gutter system will collect all that water and divert it to my sump pit. I was thrilled with the work done, and between demoing the drywall and frame to about a foot off the floor, to jackhammering the entire perimeter, to hauling in gravel, and installing the gutter and new window well drains, to finally topping it all off with a moisture barrier and some smooth new quikcrete, it only took a couple of days, and I couple not be happier with the end results."

Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. Rating of sales 5/5 Rating of the installation crew 5/5 Rating of management 5/5 Rating of mid-state as a company : 10/5 I do not believe I would have received this level of responsiveness of any of the competitors. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done. In my experience, they offer the most fair pricing."

"I first made contact with Cale from Advantage Exteriors in late 2013 to get a quote on replacing windows. I explained to him that I had previously replaced windows (in another house) and was looking for a quote on Polaris Windows. Advantage was one of a few contractors that I located on Angie’s List that dealt with Polaris windows. I explained that my time for installation was not until spring tax season and Cale did not have any issues coming out to provide a quote. Arraignments were made and Cale arrived on <br /> time to take measurements and give me a quote. <br /> I was not inundated with a long and boring sales pitch, there was not any pressure and Cale was very informative and provided information I requested in a timely manner. <br /> I made several adjustments throughout the process as I received more information <br /> about these windows and competitor windows. <br /> Cale took the time to allow for me to install different window types in different areas, depending on need. <br /> We also began to look at installing an entry door and storm door.
