"At first it seemed to be going well. Alex promised “you won’t be disappointed.” He is a young guy, just getting started so I was hoping to give him an excellent review but I must be honest with the Angi community. He is not licensed or insured. His price, which included the paint purchase, was reasonable. He arrived without a ladder tall enough to do the job. Luckily I had one he could use. He worked fast and was rushed because he had to go to another job. His attention to finer details and cleanup could use some refinement. While he was here I asked him if he could paint a small area beside my staircase that wasn’t smooth. He promised he could fix it & came back another day to do the job. When he finished, it was streaky & not repainted smoothly. He said he thought he had the correct product to fix it but he didn’t. He said he had something else that he could use but didn’t have it with him. He would come back and redo it. He left & became non-responsive to my calls & text messages and did not return so I will have to get another painter to fix what he did. My rating is largely based on his lack of communication and professionalism."
