"Was having intermittent problem with my 150 amp main breaker tripping. Sometimes it truly was the service provider, but it was becoming more apparent that main breaker was getting weak. Started calling around and getting quotes from electricians on internet & thought I was going to have to take out a second mortgage to meet their astronomical cost. They wanted anywhere from $1600.00 up to $10,000.00 to replace breaker or complete box. In a phone call with Chad from Ready Electric, he asked if I could send pics of breaker. No problem, sent several views by text. Chad returned my call & said breaker was $100.00 & labor $150.00 to install. I immediately asked when he could get here. On day he scheduled, he arrived promptly. He called Service Provider to get clearance to pull meter. Once he got meter out, he professionally replaced main breaker, adjusted plate for future removal. Will definitely hire Chad again. He’s honest, trustworthy, and very professional."

"We were extremely pleased with Corrigan and sons on the work they did installing a lightning rod protection system on our home. They did the work themselves and started and completed the job in a timely and professional manner. Hard working people, and without hesitation, we would highly recommend them."

"Jim for Donhohues Lightning Rods installed the lightning rod system in my home. When the work was done I was very happy as their installer came as per promised time, and perform the work. Before giving them the work Jim completely sold me their work ethics, quality, and service. There was a minor issue and his team took complete ownership of this issue and talked to me in detail. They provide a very good explanation to satisfy me. I am a happy customer."

FAQs for generator repair projects in Pilot Point, TX

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.

Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.

DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
