"We’ve used them last year and just signed for them this year as well. They do mulching and all the yard work. For what they do, they are very reasonably priced and they do a good job. They always trim very carefully and know about the plants. I know when they are coming and they are always on time."

"They were very responsive to our emergency call. Another company never returned our call. The workers were working overtime and stayed until the tree was completely off the roof. Two limbs rested on the roof; the tip of the main trunk of the tree was tilted on the ground just 5 feet from the house. I noticed that if they removed one limb from the roof, the main trunk could pivot and fall into the house. They realized that also, and proceeded to remove other limbs on the other side so that the main trunk would roll away from the house. They worked quickly and had removed a great amount of the tree within 3 hours. I was disappointed that our lawn was trashed during the removal because they dragged the branches and limbs over the grass. The grass still isn't fully restored. It was, however, evening and they were in a hurry to be done by dark. It's also possible that the falling of the tree did some damage to the lawn. Their main concern was to get the tree off the house, and they did a great job. The other disappointment was that after the initial removal, they left a lot of debris in front of our main entrance and garage. We waited 10 days for them to return to complete the job and remove the debris so that we could park in the garage and use our front door. The scheduler said that because we were an emergency call, they came quickly and couldn't get back to complete the job right away because they had other previously scheduled jobs. That was understandable, though an inconvenience for us. A third concern involved the billing. I was initially billed for more hours than they performed. I called the manager and he changed the time so that it was more acceptable. I don't know if I was billed more because it was an emergency call and the workers were working overtime. That could explain the difference."

"It went great. <br /> We developed a roach problem due to bringing in furniture from another house that had those bugs. Fortunately we realized the issue quickly. <br /> BA came out promptly and dealt with the problem as scheduled. John(?) was fast, efficient and took care not to create any problems with our existing layout. He had all the necessary tools to get the job done right away and spent an hour or two in our small rancher. Suffice to say, the roach issues disappeared after the visit. <br /> I personally like working with local contractors as opposed to larger chains. While there are certainly reputable companies out there, I was more impressed that BA was a family owned business operating for several decades. In today's economic climate, it speaks volumes to the fact they must be doing something right and we were not disappointed. <br /> Should there be further issues, I will not hesitate to contract BA again. <br /> The only DON'T I would put into this review is to not use email to contact them. Call them. You will receive a prompt reply even if you leave a message. This is pretty much true with ALL Angie's List providers.
