On time and on budget, and it has held up great over two years. He has also installed a wood hand railing and hot water heater and toilet, power-washed, and replaced rotting wood on a pergola. "I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"Garry called me and requested to come over to see the scope of the work. He showed up right on time for the appointment and after I showed him the broken pocket door and explaining that I wanted all the hardware to be replaced including the top track. He wanted to make sure about the quality of the top track I like him to buy, so gave him my specification that is to get an aluminium track and 3 wheel rollers, I was tired of spending money to repair every year. He called me the night before to make sure I will be home. He showed up on time to start the work. I told him here you are, I will be in my home office, when done just call me. So, took a little longer that I expected it, because of wall sheathing being plaster board, but when he called me and went to see the completed project, to my surprise, he had completed the job and just about ready to paint the access opening of the wall - which you need to open to replace the track. He charged me exactly what we verbally agreed and I was very happy that after so many years of search and work with so many handyman, I finally found a professional and honest person who respected the verbal contract and did not charge me more for the extra unexpected site issues. Garry has very good communication skills and keeps you updated with the schedules and appointments via cell phone. I will recommend him to anyone for a small or medium projects. All I can say "what a guy.""

"Mr.Clayton is great! He is very knowledgeable about all things home renovation! He did a great job on all my projects during my house renovation especially the shower /tile remodel in the bathroom. Not to mention the kitchen ,drywall,paint and laminate floors . He installed new toilets and vanity’s and even built me a new fireplace mantle ! It turned out beautifully. I would definitely recommend him on a 5 star rating . He was on time ,dependable ,and shows up when he says he will. He is willing to go above and beyond to do a great job to my satisfaction ! Tommy's crew of 3 performed the job, not Tommy. 

The ceiling fan installation and electrical went pretty smooth. Stevie worked very hard to make the light fixture level with the Hunter fan that I had purchased. The master bath exhaust fan also went well. The main bathroom had some issues. When drilling inside the wall for electrical the bit hit a firewall and jumped which caused an unforeseen hole in the wall. Tommy was great and agreed to have the hole/drywall repaired by one of the crew guys as well as matching the paint, as the past owner didn't leave paint for touch ups. 

The hole for the exhaust fan was cut a little too large causing a gap  between the fan housing and the attic so insulation started falling through. I did ask about this and I was told it wouldn't be a problem. My friend and I added flashing around the fan housing to correct the situation.

Tip: Tell them Up Front if you want the instructions/warranty or leftover items from the boxes that the fixtures come in, as well as your original fixtures.

Clean up could have been better.
