"The project went very well. Timing and budget were met. More importantly, I had a curvy design (drawn on graph paper) and a new material in mind (recycled rubber pavers, now offered by Azek). Unlike many of the contractors I spoke with, Jeff from MasonWorks was willing to work with my design and this unfamiliar material that involved laying plastic grids over the compacted base and then installing the pavers. The pavers themselves could be cut with a woodworking tools. I wanted a dogwood blossom design on the entry and main patios which required a lot of diagonal cuts. I didn't want to pay for the extra labor to make that happen, so MasonWorks team laid the pavers in a random pattern and gave me a few days before applying the sand to lock in when I was able to cut and rearrange the pavers to make my design. I am so thrilled with the result. I had wanted a deck, but the raised terrace was a great solution that didn't conflict with zoning. The work was done in 2011 and, 8 years later, it is holding up really well, even though I did dig out the base material pretty close to the edge of the pavers to allow for more planting. The first photo is from 2018. The others are from 3-5 years ago."

"Perfect! The removal of the pre-existing concrete patio took and entire day of hard work with some heavy equipment and lots of muscle. Once the old concrete was removed and disposed of, the site was excavated to prepare the underlying base of crushed stone and sand for the pavers. The paver installation went well, but required last minute cutting into small pieces to fit some difficult spots (around the cellar hatchway). Everything looks beautiful compared to the older poured concrete. We're totally satisfied with the project and the team who did the work!"

"Eddie and his crew (Josh, Juilio, Steve, John.....) replaced our entire driveway. The driveway was over 40 years old and had a significant drainage issue. Eddie reviewed the driveway, very competitively priced the replacement and recommended a drainage fix that corrected a very difficult driveway design. Eddie was on site for the entire replacement, the removal of the old blacktop, undesirable sub base and some areas that needed sawcutting. Then his crew compacted the new base with an excellent crushed stone base, installed the new drainage 1,000 gallon precast concrete drywell with drainage pipe and expanded some areas of the existing driveway. Then the final install of the asphalt was liking watching an orchestra perform. The crew was amazing under Eddie's guidance, the attention to detail to each area of the driveway install was so satisfying to watch. The weather during the install was not perfect, but Eddie and his crew were never distracted to doing a perfect driveway install. I am a very satisfied customer with Eddie's communication from the quoting process to his communication for the after care of driveway. Tony identified the really rough areas & cut them out & prepared those areas for new asphalt…and then paved over the entire driveway with new asphalt. The crew did an amazing job! I also had them install a 5 footI apron at the end of my driveway. It is red brick framed with salt & pepper granite blocks. Again, the crew did a fantastic job on the apron.
