Topcoat Sealing Inc. was founded in 2005 and is owned and operated by Don Harshbarger. We are located just north of Canonsburg, PA southwest of Pittsburgh -- directly off of the Southpointe Exit on Rt. 79. We believe in repeat business and that's why our philosophy is to provide the highest quality work and exceptional customer service at a reasonable price. We take pride in our work and we have many loyal customers who continue to count on us for their driveway and parking lot maintenance needs. We use only high-quality equipment and products to ensure that your driveway or parking lot will not only look good, but will resist abuse from the elements and daily use as long as possible.

"We had a disappointing experience with Hall?s Sealcoating. My husband met with James in person, and while he acknowledged the amount of landscaping rocks would be a challenge, he assured us multiple times that they?d move the rocks before sealcoating and return after it cured to put everything back. We were fine with the quote and trusted that plan?but unfortunately, that?s not what happened. The rocks were never moved, the edges weren?t cut cleanly, and there?s now sealcoat all over our landscaping stones. If we had known they weren?t going to follow through, we would?ve moved the rocks ourselves without hesitation. It?s clear the crew never intended to return, and now we?re left replacing a good amount of stone to fix the mess. At this point, we wouldn?t recommend Hall?s to others."

"Collins Paving did a new asphalt driveway June 2022 for $15,000. The install it was a major headache. Jerry complained entire time- about me, my driveway, the job, even his crew's work ethic. That fall of 2022 the driveway developed ponding in three large areas. I left emails, phone messages and never got a response. On May 5, 2023, I contacted them to seal the driveway (per their instructions at install). They responded right away. When they came out to seal, July 16, 2023, I explained the problem and was told to 'call the office'. I called weekly for 2 months. Finally, on September 9 Jerry and Steve came over and were quite confrontational with me. It was very uncomfortable, but I bit my tongue because I wanted it addressed. In the end, they both acknowledged the issues and recommended I have them address it in the spring and give 'one more winter'. I started calling & emailing in late March 2024. I finally got an appt in August. I waited all day until 4pm, made several calls the 'office' (no one answered). When I called the following week to inquire about my appt., Shauna said that Jerry and Steve came over and no one was home. Not true. Since then, I've called again and again and it's the same response from Shauna. "I'll let them know'. When i ask when I can expect a follow up, I'm told, 'I'm not sure, they are on other jobs'. I've kept track of how many times I've called and its over 30 times. They have no interest in talking to me. Shauna answers the phone and takes another message. At this point, less that 3 years after install, my driveway is sinking, cracks are forming, and I am forced to get resolution through 3rd parties. All I wanted was help figuring this out and I was hoping we could work this out together but I’m being ignored. I would avoid Collins Paving. There is so much more I could share."
