"Overall we are very happy with the workmanship that was preform. In the past we have had our driveway resealed and both times it required two coats. Not this time, it required only one coat, you can tell after a few days of it setting up if it's going to need additional coating. My neighbor inquired as to who sealcoated the driveway I think he was kind of impressed himself he wanted the phone number so I gave him the phone number I haven't checked back with him yet to see if he called but he might be getting his done. "Just the facts: Our house is two-stories and 1700 sq ft; not large. The quoted price for a new roof, repair/replace/clean the gutters, and rebuild/cap one chimney was @ $19,000. Once the work was started and shingles removed, Sean said the wood on the roof was in bad shape and needed to be replaced as well. This would add the price of plywood (they used MDF) plus two extra days of labor for 6 workers. For this he charged an additional 46,000, bringing the cost of the job to @65,000. Lesson learned: ask for a quote that includes the chance that the wood on your roof would need to be replaced with plywood. If we’d known BEFORE they tore off the shingles that it would triple the cost, we would have shopped around for a better price. The workers were excellent and the job was well-done; the project was simply way too costly."
