"I needed a lot of work done at my dad's old house in Alburgh, VT. I had trouble finding anyone who would do the work I needed in that location, or would actually call me back. When I heard a radio ad telling me that Grunts also did construction work in addition to junk removal and moving services, I thought I'd get in touch. I'm so glad I did. They were able to do all the work I needed, being in Alburgh was not a problem, and they were finished inside two weeks. No one was living in the house at the time so they pretty much had the run of the place, but when I was up there a week into the work most of it was done already, and they had left the house clean even thought they weren't there at the time and they obviously weren't finished yet. The original estimate didn't include the work to the porch roof, but the estimate for that plus the original estimate ended up being the same as the final bill, which is always nice.. They even removed a piano from the living room for me, and they don't appear to have charged me extra for it. I never had direct contact with the work crew except over the phone on day 1, but all communications between myself and the company were professional and friendly. I gave an N/A on price because I didn't actually do any price comparisons, as I was just happy the location didn't scare them off and the price was in my budget. It seemed reasonable however. Overall the work was high quality, timely, professional, and I'd absolutely hire them again in the future."

"Bill Hayes showed up on time, preformed the work doing a super professional job and stuck to the quote even though the job took a little longer. He left the site clean and in a better condition than when he arrived. Bill Hayes was very experienced and efficiently and expertly operated his equipment in our tight back yard. We recommend him and would hire him back again. He is very talented and good at what he does, we were very lucky we hired him because he knew how to stabilize the bank. We had been looking for someone that knew how to do this but we're not convinced that just a retaining wall would work. Now our house is protected, our bank is stabilized with large boulders, our bank can now become be a beautiful rock garden this summer with plantings in between the puzzled together rocks.
