"I live out of town, so having a service that is reliable and reputable is very important. The owner is always responsive. The young men who work on my yard have always been very respectful, trustworthy, they're work is neat, and they are very prompt. I've used Sure Cuts Lawn Care for over two years now and I recommend this company to anyone."

"Scotts was hired to provide some basic lawn treatment services, specifically with fertilization. I hired them about a year ago to provide these services and "turn my yard around." They performed liquid irrigation in addition to treatment. My yard did in fact show tremendous progress and was starting to look pretty good going into the Fall. <br /> Fast forward to this past Spring. My yard was not "waking up" and I had lots of patches of dead grass in my front yard and dirt in my backyard. My backyard was looking worse and worse with each passing week. I called Scotts and told them of the situation. They said they would a tech out, free of charge, and they did. They said due to a late winter, my grass needed more Nitrogen to "wake up." They put this out on the yard in addition to normal fertilizer treatment. My yard continued in a rapid state of decay with each passing month and I began to get apprehensive. <br /> Currently, my yard looks absolutely terrible. I have dirt patches and dead grass that was not present over a year ago pre-treatment. I expected that over a year an a half of treatment, my yard would look better and not worse. I then cancelled service with Scotts. <br /> I thought something seemed amiss and called some other services to get their analysis on my lawn. They believed that the front and back yards were treated with the same fertilizer treatment, which is very bad since it is two different types of grasses. They also thought that my lawn possibly had too much nitrogen, which was reflective of a lot of the present damage. <br /> Opinion: <br /> I thought Scotts was very professional over the phone and very responsive on my questions. They were polite and courteous. I don't think the techs give a very personalized treatment of my lawn. I think they sprayed the general treatment all over, without consideration of the grass or the current state of the grass. I don't know what they did in my back yard as it has more weeds and dirt than grass at this point. <br /> My opinion is that the techs were going through the motions, but never looked at my yard and said "Why does this look worse each time I visit? Maybe I should do something differently." I think if they would have reacted with different / correct treatments then my yard would not be in its current, detrimental state. <br /> I know some people have had good luck with Scotts and I originally contracted them based on the reviews here. Unfortunately, they did not work out for me and I am moving to a different provider. The opinions of the future providers is that it will take 2-3 years to recover from the damage currently in place, which I am not at all pleased with. <br />"

"They are very conscientious and they use products that are more environmentally friendly than some of the larger lawn care places. The company owner is readily available to any customers, I have to appreciate that."

"From the time I called Ace Tree Service to the completion of the work, the job was handled promptly and professional. Adam and his crew did a great job from start to finish. The job was scheduled and completed within a week, the crew showed up on time and they got the job done in one day. The cleanup was awesome. They did not leave any limbs or other debris laying around. I will definitely use them in the future. <br />"

"Overall it was decent work but kind of pricey for what I received. The grass has done reasonably well and it's a year out. (I watered it religiously.) I thought that the rest of the work was done in a perfunctory manner. We had agreed to clear a section of my yard for a garden. The initial price included application of soil if needed. They didn't apply the soil and when I went to plant a month later found a foot of clay and had to apply it myself. I didn't check behind them - I am real busy and just took their word for it. The ground looked OK from a superficial perspective. I suppose that I could have called them (even a month out) and complained and insisted that they take care of this. I bet they would have. But I didn't want the hassle, so I dealt with it myself. I just hate when I have to check behind people. It makes me feel like they are trying to get away with doing shoddy work. In this case they got away with it, but I wouldn't hire them again, or if I did, I would be prepared to supervise and complain and I just don't want to deal with that. Having said that, I feel that they are somewhat better than average when it comes to small jobs (and I have no experience with bigger jobs)."

"Called company and talked to very courteous young lady. She set up a service tech to come by and look at our lawn. The tech was on time and gave us a quote in writing. I agreed $33/month for a monthly application of fertilizer and weed killer for our lawn was an acceptable price for the service, signed the agreement and emailed it to the company. They came out when they said they would and we have started the service on a very positive basis."

"<p>He was friendly, explained that he does two treatments every two months, stated the treatments he will do. He did cover the entire yard with the fertilizer and pre-emergent. This was a special he offered for new customers. He says he does have a yearly contract service available and I shall buy that service at the end of the special.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />"
