We JUST had Patrick from Ark Foundation out, to examine why we were getting water in our basement; and he immediately diagnosed the issue as one of landscaping grading and drainage rather than foundation repair. He was SO helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and informative - and his advice directly went against any financial gain on his part (i.e., we weren't charged for the diagnosis; and his advice was to find a good landscaper). "It was a quick fix and I really liked that I did not have to replace all the concrete. I am able to walk up to the door now with ease. The chipmunks will be very upset that they will not be able to hide under the concrete walkway anymore. I was comfortable with the company and they made sure that I was happy with the job. "Quality of product installed and workmanship I am pleased with. However, post install is why I have deemed necessary to leave this review. The crew left food waste in our yard and gutters. Lawn was not adequately swept for nails and staples. Upon reinstalling my TV antenna, observed pieces of shingle, siding, aluminum flashing, nails and staples in one gutter. This prompted me to inspect all gutters, where I found more of the same. Had two exhaust vents installed for bathroom fans. The crew did not leave necessary couplers to connect provided duct to vents in attic. The project manager provided necessary couplings by personally delivering to my house which I am appreciative of. Discovered packaging material from shingles, along with shingle remnants in my attic. The sales presentation and documentation was why I chose Palmer Construction over lowest bidder, about $5000. The owner and sales person have yet to reply to my emails and/or phone messages. The project manager is the only staff who contacted me and followed up. Not how I would run my business or manage my staff. They also jeopardized an opportunity to earn an additional project. I got a new roof which hopefully will last until I move and they got my money."

"Excellent and conscientious work by a local, long-time, business owner who has learned the trade over 3 generations of masonry, foundation repair, basement waterproofing, concrete pouring/leveling experience. The on-site crew was friendly, prompt and very good about cleaning-up once the job was complete. The estimate and final cost were exactly the same price -- absolutely no surprises. I highly recommend this company to any homeowner who's seeking such work. If you're able to plan a few months ahead when scheduling a project and/or acquiring an estimate, please keep in mind that patience is a virtue. I was told up front that this crew was booked several months out with other projects. But since I was able and willing to wait, I have absolutely no regrets about doing so now. As is the case with any competent, skilled, quality construction business today, they are typically booked several months in advance because of the high demand for their services."

"It went great! Keevan & Jason were very professional and did a great job! Keevan took the time to explain what he did and what he found in the cleaning. He took lots of pictures to document. Keevan found some repairs that need to be done. I feel he was honest enough to let us know what the priorities were. He wrote up an estimate and did not pressure me for a commitment. He answered all of my questions and let me know if I had any more questions or needed further explanation, to not hesitate contacting him. The service was excellent! We plan to have them come back out in the spring to do our repairs. Thank you!"
