"The Drop Zone team was priced very comparable to 2 other quotes I received, they were able to schedule the tree removal 3 weeks earlier than the other quotes. The workers showed up on time, cut down the tree and other branches from a nearby tree that were hanging over my roof, protected my lawn and landscaping, did an excellent job of cleaning up the work site, and were personable to deal with."

I take care of the dirty, heavy work that homeowners and contractors don't want to handle around Monroe, Adrian, and the surrounding areas. With a heavy-duty F-250 and a big hydraulic dump trailer, we do everything from ripping out old kitchens and tearing down sheds to clearing overgrown brush, grading land, and cleaning out gutters. We don't just show up, smash things, and leave a mess—we handle the full demolition, pack up the trailer, and haul every piece of trash straight to the landfill so your property is completely clean and ready for whatever's next. If you need a job done fast, safely, and without the corporate hassle, give me a call.

"Quick response. Professional and knowledgeable staff. I called and they arrived within a couple hours to provide storm cleanup. Provided a very reasonable estimate to removed a dead tree and scheduled removal for 2 weeks from the date of the invoice. Staff was very knowledgeable and professional. I will be contacting them to inquire about an overgrown bush"

Small jobs welcome

"They came out the next day for an estimate and then did the job the day after that! I was expecting to wait longer since all the tree companies were busy after the storm. They did it the old fashioned way by climbing, so they were able to get at a tree behind my fence without using heavy equipment (which would have required going through my neighbor's yard) or doing any damage to my garden. Very reasonable price too."

"The job grew to include a second huge tree and they were able to bring more workers and stay on schedule. Great job. It did take a couple extra days to get the stumps ground."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Pleasant Lake, MI

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
