We consider what we hired them for to be a complex and major project and they EXCEEDED every expectation as they did a beautiful and amazing job. The name of their company suits the work that they do. First, they helped us with the design and it did not matter how many questions we asked, they answered them with a smile and a "can-do" attitude. Second, they sent the quote immediately and did not vary from the amount quoted, despite the scope of the work changing due to some issues relating to uncovered pipes and our existing sprinkler system. Third, the level of communication is outstanding and not something that we have experienced from any contractor that we have used in the past. They provided us with their cell phone number and they sent us text updates and allowed us to ask questions and communicate with them regularly. They did not delay in response. When it came to doing the work they started and finished when they said that they were going to, they are hard working and meticulous in making sure it was perfect and something that they were proud to put there name on. They offered us suggestions on things that they thought would look better or make more sense and always had an open dialog with us, resulting in the best outcome. The patio is a true wow factor. "We spent 2 years renovating our house leaving our yard a giant mud puddle. Over the course of the winter, we worked with Ron to develop the landscaping plan. In the spring, his team re-leveled the entire lot, installed 2 patios with pavers, sod, a fence, prepped for a shed and put in a new asphalt driveway and vegetation. We are very happy with the final product."

"I contacted John's and received a quote via email from Toni, and felt the price was reasonable. While they have a year-round maintenance package (which would translate to a discount), I opted for a la carte services. They came out and raked out the shrub beds, dethatched the lawn, and picked up most of the bits of trash that were around the yard. Unfortunately, the de-thatching machine tore up some of the grass, down to the soil (it was admittedly thin coverage), and they missed some bits of trash (plastic grocery bags hanging in the shrubs), but overall it was well done. They sent a rep out to look at the mulching job to be done, and the job was done fine. There were some spots where there were weeds poking out through the mulch, but, overall, pretty good. I hired them to do weekly lawn mowing, and they've been out twice, and the grass looks good, though I do wish that they'd grab the bits of trash that accumulate in the yard. All-in-all, a solid lawn care company, and I'm happy to have them. The approximate cost of service above reflects the spring cleanup and mulch; the lawn mowing is done weekly for $45.

"I contacted Travers to have a chimney removed, some general demo (walls brought down to the studs) and a large amount of yard work (clearing a largely overgrown yard) on a home I recently purchased. With a large amount of work to tune up this house in a short window leading up to summer, time was of the essence. I spoke with Alex in their office several times leading up to the work. She was extremely helpful and responsive. She helped coordinate some of Mike's time for an estimate. While I initially called exclusively about removal of the chimney, the scope of the job grew after talking to Mike and understanding all the work they could do. After agreeing on full scope and price, Mike was able to schedule my job in on less than a weeks notice. I met the team day 1 at the house where they arrived right on time. All the guys on the team were friendly, professional and instilled confidence. I was shocked at how fast the progress was on the chimney. Day 2 the focus shifted to the yard while some of the team was still doing work in the house. They moved at break neck speed yet methodically and highly coordinated. They left after two days - There wasn't a single scratch on the old hardwoods I was hoping to preserve despite moving TONS of brick and mortar where the hearth once sat. They leveled the yard everywhere they removed trees and bushes with only patches of no grass being the only evidence work had even been done. They also patched the roof, somehow match up the pattern of a 20 or so year old roof so it appears a chimney never existed. I had never worked with Travers before and reviews online were the only reference I had to go on in hire them. I was cautiously optimistic they were the right company, but then they blew away my expectations! I will absolutely leverage them again for future jobs and strongly encourage others to call Travers as well. If your job needs to be done in a timely fashion and you want to maintain quality - this is the company to call."
