He emphasized that this focus would ensure better service, especially when repairs were needed. Unfortunately, after the sale, I realized this was not the case. Initially, I was told I could handle my own maintenance to save money. But once the sale was complete, I was informed that service would only be available for emergencies if I signed up for their maintenance plan. When my generator failed to switch the power to the house during an outage, I was told it would cost $220 for a call if the generator was not under warranty ?despite the generator being under 4 years old and under warranty. They charged me anyway. To make things worse, the response time was abysmal. The first call took a week to get scheduled, despite multiple follow-ups on my end.
