Disappointed. We have used DIxon previously and have recommended them to other family members to use.  This was our last time using Dixon.  Too much hassle and aggravation didn't make it worth the price difference.

There is no quality control or walk through of any supervisor prior to them showing up to collect a check.  A crew (non English speaking) shows up, can't communicate, rework is necessary because wrong deck color was purchased, walls were not painted correct color, areas in closet and bathroom were not painted at all and ALOT of oversplash of white paint on the red brick exterior, driveway, etc.  Crew initially was not respectful of the house (trash, drink containers, bathroom usage) or other workers in the house.

I feel they only corrected items at my fathers house because we had also contracted with them to do our exterior paint refresh as well.  Same issues and this time an argument from the Quality Manager about all the white paint on our red brick exterior.  He stated that it was the previous painters and essentially called me a liar.  Only the trim, eves, doors, window surrounds, etc. were to be painted.  Repairs were done shoddy and we requested they redo with the materials that were quoted, screens were not put back on the correct windows, windows are painted shut, shrubs were broken and damaged, etc.

This used to be a great company and service provider.  They've painted two other houses and a barn of ours over the last 15 years all were great, but something is really lacking in their service approach at this point.  Again, disappointing.

He quoted me a price and timeline to remodel 3 bathrooms (all new tile showers, replace a tub and create walk in shower, install LVP flooring, paint walls, install/replace a window, install/replace ceiling fan, and more). In the end, He stuck to his deadline and didnâ t deviate much from the price. He was very communicative, prompt/punctual, and fair. Any issues or concerns I addressed with him, he received well. "I called just to have my 10 shutters painted. Alex answered and said he would be over in less than an hour to give me an estimate. He arrived within that time frame. He gave me a quote, which we agreed on, and said he could start immediately. He finished the job and then asked if I would like him to paint the front door. We agreed on a price, and he painted the door. The work was quick and professional. The front of my house now has a clean, fresh look to it. He cleaned up afterward and and he passed his business card to me. I would highly recommend Alex or A&S painting services to any home owner for painting jobs, large and small. A&S also does other work such as large painting jobs, power washing, carpentry, etc."

"Painted walls, cabinets, trim, removed textured ceiling, sanded and refinished the hardwood floors, rebuilt our stairs and added new hardwood upstairs, and lvp in the laundry room. Was an accident but they responded and mitigated the issue very quickly. Love the outcome of all their hard work. Been a few months and things are holding up nicely."
