"They did a good job with the project but the responsiveness and professionalism and working with the customer was horrendous. It took them a couple months to even do it but also the worst part was they never responded to my emails or calls. It was like pulling teeth. Because of the lack of communication I would have used somebody else instantly but they are the only company I found that would take on this project. "A licensed electrican from Eand S did the above work on September 14, 2012 He started at 8 am and worked straight through to 3:30 pm to get everything done. He was professional in his work; asked questions when issues came up, explained what he had done, and cleaned up well afterwards. I helped where I could such as assisting with running the ground wire through the ceiling area. After he had completed most of the work, I noticed some lights that did not work in the laundry room. He re-openned the main electrical panel and found some wires that had been dislodged from breakers when he had added the grounding wire. He put them back into the breakers and checked the rest of the panel to be sure everything worked. <br /> It was helpful that I knew what I and the owner of the company had agreed to be done and where in the house each of the issues were. I could quickly point out to the electrican the specific outlets, switches or other items so he knew right where to start on each task. Being available to answer questions also speeded up the process. Overall I was quite satisfied with the work done. <br />"

"Great!  We missed doing a fall raking of our yard due to an early snow and so we had a lot of dead leaves compressed on the ground all over our property this spring. Gofer Buys gathered up and hauled away all leaves and lots of fallen branches from  our yard, garden beds and areas topped with rock mulch.  They also did some weeding and trimming of overgrown vegetation. They were very thorough and efficient. Even got an unexpected mow -- as they had to mow to get to the underlying leaves. Very good customer contact and polite when they needed to reschedule once due to rain. Said we were next on the list as soon as the ground was dry enough for their equipment and we were!  Was very happy when I got home from work and saw the huge improvement. <br />"

"Things went very well. The electrician was prompt, professional and very thorough. In addition to looking at the circuit panel, the electrician checked all light switches, replacing many. The electrician also installed several dimmers and rewired a series of switches between the kitchen and main living area. The electrician spent a total of 3 hours at the home. We now have piece of mind given our home is approaching 15 years old. We would hire again."

"It was absolutely wonderful working with owner Liza Lightfoot and her staff. Everyone was knowledgable, creative and patient. Communication was easy - a wonderful collaboration. Everyone stressed Avant's goal of creating a landscape plan that we loved and that grew in beauty over the years. Liza and staff brought a sensibility to the project that is difficult to describe. There are many discrete points of interest, however, the overarching achievement is the masterful placement of rocks and plants, reshaping of the garden and lawn in the front/side yard. The yard went from a pass through area to a "stop and sit a while" outdoor room. It is restful, nourishing and stimulating at the same time. We love it.On the more practical side, the job was started as anticipated and completed on schedule and within budget. The landscape ground crew worked efficiently and well together - a delightful group. Liza was always available if a question came up, as happened occasionally with the placement of a tree or rock, or if it was not clear how to execute the plan on the land. Liza's exacting standards were demonstrated when she had staff re-do a small part of the path and the placement of large two trees. She also was present when the crew came to place the fence panels to insure that they were located for maximum effect.
