"They were able to remove limb and save the tree. Clear dead branches and a others that were close to roof. Worked very hard, hardly knew they were there. Cleaned up. The cost was reasonable, however well worth the care and treatment of the tree and our property. I would hire again without hesitation and already referred them to my new neighbor."

"We had a stone sidewalk through our garden and wanted additional access.  We called Outdoor Concepts - we have used them on 5-6 landscaping projects (both design and installation) over the past 8 years.  Genie's design really enhanced our outdoor spaces.  Joe and his staff are professional, prompt and efficient.  Overall, a great value.  It's a company we trust for quality work."

"We hired Greener Grass for lawn treatments in 2012. We had some problem areas in our lawn that were not addressed and treatments were applied on a 100 degree day during a very dry spell causing burned areas in our yard. We mentioned the problem areas on multiple occasions however they were not addressed. At the end of the summer we determined we would not rehire them the following year, but received a call that they had hired new technicians. <br />"

"We started using Greenskeepers last summer and were very happy with the results. This year is a whole different story. They are using different equipment and which is damaging my lawn. I have no grass now around the base of my trees where the tires from their mowers have dug into the ground. Where I have spruce trees with branches extending out from the trunk of the tree, they are not mowing at all. The grass is being cut too long, the result of mowing too fast to get the job done quickly. So, when they are done, the yard looks worse than when they arrived. The only positive thing I can say is they show up every week on the scheduled day. I am cancelling the service this week and searching for another company to do my lawn mowing."

"Joe was recommended to us by our new neighbor soon after we moved in. Joe was very flexible in scheduling the date and time for the initial visit to discuss the work we were interested in having completed. He provided us with excellent advice and followed up with a quoted estimate the very next day. His estimate was detailed and itemized as we had requested. We scheduled the work to be done in 2 weeks from then. <br /> Joe later confirmed to us his expected arrival date and time and arrived with his crew precisely on that date and at that time. Joe and his crew were pleasant, polite and very hard workers who spent most of a very hot day efficiently completing all of the agreed to tasks. Joe and crew not only did all the work to our expectations but went beyond those expectations. He and his crew were very meticulous in both the work and in cleaning up when complete. The property looked beautiful! In fact two other neighbors have subsequently had Joe do some work for them as well. We were extremely pleased and satisfied with the entire experience and plan to have Joe retun in the fall."

"Rod and his crew were great! I explained that I was looking for a budget-friendly solution. I had received two other quotes that came in for over $1400 and $1600. Rod proposed replacing the step with a precast step. It was actually a much better height than what we used to have. The color and rough texture on the front also matched well with our existing pavers. The width of the new step was slightly different than our original step, so Rod cut the existing pavers tapering the edge of the walk, so everything would look right. He fixed the sunken area and the walk is now properly graded. I am extremely happy with the work that newCreations did and they charged significantly less than the other two bids I had received."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Prescott, WI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
