"Artistic Landscapes Inc. was one of many companies we talked to and received quotes from about installing a boulder retaining wall in our backyard to replace aging railroad ties and decking. The backyard is sloped with very limited access to move materials and equipment, therefore many of the companies we spoke with responded with either limited options for landscape ideas or unaffordable prices. Chris came out, listened to our ideas, gave us some of his and told us exactly what we could expect; he quickly put a bid together and we were elated it fell within our budget.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />He and his crew not only worked around the limited access issues, but challenging weather including rain and wet conditions/clay soils. In addition to an approximate 60 foot long boulder retaining wall, they installed 33 paver stones for a pathway, steps as a feature area, additional large boulders for aesthetic enhancements and graded the area to address critical storm water runoff needs. The placement of each stone/boulder was clearly thought through, resulting in a unique and attractive wall versus many of the standard "one on top of the other" looks. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Toward the end there were a few minor tweaks we requested to which Chris and his crew were more than happy to accommodate until they knew we were completely satisfied. Clean up was fabulous too; our front yard damaged by major equipment during the process (which we knew was necessary) was fully restored as promised! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Chris was good to communicate with and very trustworthy in terms of what he committed to delivering. "My job was actually to have a stamped concrete patio installed. Overall, they did an awesome job! They were able to complete the job about a week prior to what they&#39;d estimated, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job within the time they said. They were very careful about placing plastic on the driveway and took care in ensuring they did as a little invasion to the area as possible. They were professional, friendly and easy to work with, and the finished product is absolutely beautiful. I LOVE IT! Every time I walk out and see it I love it more! "Our concrete walkway had cracked badly over the winter, our rock beds looked terrible and our old railroad ties used for edging were rotting and out of place from snowplowing. Josh got a couple of options to me very quickly and after I chose one was able to start work within a few days. He brought out several examples of pavers to look out and pick from . His crew got the work done in two days, and Josh saw to the details, coming out several times to inspect and make improvements. The crew was polite and neat - cleaned up very well afterward. Josh did not collect final payment until he came out an did a walk through with me. He has pride of workmanship and made some changes to improve the final look that we had not even noticed."

"We received four estimates/quotes from four different contractors/companies, to replace our 25 year old deck with composite decking. Jim and Outdoor Solutions were by far the easiest to work with and the most knowledgeable. Their quote was middle of the pack but they excelled in their knowledge, experience and willingness to work with us. Mike conducted the estimate, and he was also the daily on-site foreman of the four man crew. He knew exactly what we wanted from the initial estimate, and he had the experience to make it happen. Where he really shined however was in his recommendation of a plan for a privacy fence on one side of the deck, an area where the other contractors fell way short.
