Lee was able to come out one week after getting my initial quote. Lee was on time and finished the job in 4 days. I provided the paint while Lee took care of all other supplies. However, I have never seen a better paint job anywhere - in particular their cut-in work. We have 20-foot walls in one room, which were handles expertly and safely. The owners did most of the work, bringing in a helper for one day; everyone was professional and personable. They kept a neat worksite and were respectful of our home. "I selected Davis Custom Painting because of the reviews on Angie's list and because they were local. I thought they were a little overpriced based on other estimates I received but they did excellent work. Scheduling was a little vague to begin with due to other jobs and weather. But if you are flexible, they provide great service. Painters were friendly and polite. Job lead was prompt, responded quickly to all my questions and stayed in constant contact via e-mail with job progress, what they were doing and when. He also put up with my craziness and constant questions in a very professional manner (Thanks Zach!), was very accomodating when I decided to add to the job (when they were already done with the power wash and prep work on the house) by power washing and painting the yard fence. Zach did a complete walk around with me when job was done to make sure I was satisfied. Also, they accomplished a couple of minor repairs for me while doing prep work on the house (loose gutters, replaced garage door stripping, and pulled down some bird's nest that I was afraid to get on a ladder and do myself, etc.). Overall they were great and I will probably use them again next year for some interior painting."

"Art was not only on time when he came to give me the estimate, he was a few minutes early. Also early when he came to do the work. How often does that happen? He did the work on a Saturday, which was great for my schedule. He brought someone to work with him and they primed and painted everything in less than 6 hours.The paint job looks great. These guys don't even tape off and their lines are perfectly straight! They were tidy, they took one ten-minute break and I am thoroughly pleased. I had gotten an estimate from another painter that friends recommended whom I would have used but after the estimate I could never get the guy to call me back. Art's price was $15 higher, included the material and I didn't have to wait weeks for him to show up. Pretty happy the other guy blew me off-very happy with the job Art did. <br />"
