"Excellent service! The crew shows up each week on schedule and trims all around the yard and another mows the lawn. When their done they even take a picture of their work and send it to the owner showing their quality of work. The first time the service was performed the owner follows up to ensure that we were pleased with the quality of service and ask if there was anything requiring improvement. Since we purchased the weekly service, he intermittently follows up. The quality, professionalism and reasonable pricing makes this company someone we will continue to increase our services with. Today it's trimming and mowing, we will increase to their fall package and next year lawn fertilization, etc."

"<p>I think it went well.  Owner was very responsive and kind, crew was friendly.  They used their tools like they knew what they were doing, including the small bulldozer.  Overall they did a very good job, and I was very pleased, but there is one detail I did not discover until a week or two after the installation.  When they installed the river rock they dumped the river rock dust with it.  This sounds like a miner detail but the dust rises to the surface, and there is quite a bit of it .  Weeds take root in it, and that's what we wanted to prevent.  After all the care they used to install the permeable weed barrier and the rock it's a shame they were careless with the dust from the rock.</p> <p>I did like them, and I would very likely use them again.</p> <br />"

"They started out okay in the beginning but then they kept saying if we needed service in-between to just let them know. I called them and told them to come out and take a look because I had some brown spots. They said they would be out sometime the next week for their regular service but they never showed up so I just canceled their service. I wasn't happy. The guys that come out were really friendly and helpful. Their service department is in Denver and when I would call, they were not very friendly or helpful."

"They are one of the preferred providers when we moved into this neighborhood. They do triple "A" work. We have had them come back and do our landscaping. We had them do it originally and then we had an extended patio and they came back and did that, and then we had the driveway extended and they came out and they did that. So, it is a really good company. I am going to call them this spring. We have mulch in the front yard and I am going to have them put river rock to replace it because we have so much wind here in Colorado Springs, wood mulch just tends to lift up and fly away. They are a good company. They are very responsive. They do excellent work; all their workers just do a really good job. They work until they get it just so; they do not just go stuff down and leave you. They are very particular and they do a very very good job."

"<p>My entire experience with Foothills Landscaping was outstanding.  This extends from my initial conversation with Mike Johnson's mother, Diane, who coordinated things, to Mike?s arrival at the jobsite the very next day, on time to the minute, completely prepared to diagnose and repair a couple of  dysfunctional, complicated zones within an irrigation system that was installed by others.  Prior to him arriving, I was prepared to hear that one of the zones would have to be largely replaced, which would not have been a simple job given the mature, dense, plant, tree and root-filled sloping terrain with two walls and a concrete walkway that would have to be traversed.  But Mike, who has an uncanny ability to locate leaks, found the offending one that was fully hidden within a large area of dense vegetation, relying on his hearing alone.  Causation of problem was thereby solved and repaired, no extensive replacement necessary.  He also located and repaired multiple leaks in the other zone, most importantly a leak that was hidden under a concrete and stone pathway.  In a nutshell, I found Mike (who is one of the owners) to be methodical, a great diagnostician, intelligent and intuitive?a highly experienced, very competent professional with a strong, honest work ethic.  He has a pleasant personality, welcomes questions, and explains things clearly as he goes along.  He is fair, trustworthy, respectful, and his services proved to be an excellent value.  I would not hesitate a second to hire or recommend him again.  Not one single second.    I also enjoyed Foothills? website, particularly the portfolio (photo gallery).  Their work is beautiful.  And Diane, well she is a sweetheart.  My experience is that she will do everything she can to accommodate.</p> <br />"
