"I apologize for taking so long to write this review.  I should have written it just after the work was done last summer.  I was so pleased with the work done by North Liberty Painters, whom I found on Angie's List, that I felt I should write a review to confirm the wonderful reviews I had read about them before choosing them to paint our house.  I have never written a review for anyone before, and do so now because of how wonderful it was to work with everyone at North Liberty Painters.  <br /> From the first visit to our home when Jeri Henderson, the owner of the company, came out to assess the house and give me a quote, throughout the entire process, everything went so smoothly, and the work was done so well.  Jeri was very attentive to details, and very responsive to any communications I sent to her.  Her crew are amazing!  I have only good things to say about all of them:  professional, polite, respectful, helpful, quiet workers (they use headphones while they work so any music or radio programs they are listening to while they work are not heard by others ~ great idea!), attentive to detail, on time, kept me informed and updated, responsive to questions/requests I had concerning the job, quality workmanship.  I couldn't be more pleased with them. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to others.  They do both exterior and interior work, and I will likely be contacting them to do some interior painting for us this spring.  <br /> Thank you Jeri, Brad, Tony, and Zach (the main people who came to the house), and the others who came once or twice to work.  I appreciate all of you!  It was delightful working with you.  <br />"

"I have reported on it above. They did a great job. The north side had green mildew which was completly removed and they used a mildewicide on it which I am assuming will prevent mildew from appearing so soon. I didn't discuss the details with them; I just know that they used it. The siding looked very clean, and I was completely happy with their work. The price for the job included the 10% discount for Angie's List customers. The only reason I gave them a B on price was that a competitor gave me a fairly close bid for all four sides of the house. I have no idea if the competitor's work would be as good as Sparkle Wash."

"I've used Mike's painters several times for both interior and exterior work. They are consistently excellent. His estimates are very rarely the cheapest, but I know the work will be done very well and on time. This project was lowest bid, which was a nice suprise."

"The foreman of the crew is a gentleman, a good communicator, a perfectionist, and a pleasure to work with.  The crew was very efficient and professional.  I would recommend this crew to everyone.  The result was a perfect paint job.  The actual cost ran 1.3% higher than the estimate - - not unreasonable, but without explanation. <br />"

"He does work himself and he coordinates for other trades. I have found him to be innovative and reliable. If I need something done and I don’t know who to go to, I simply call Les. He is willing to do research on things and I highly recommend him. He came up with a solution for an outside stair problem; it looked good, it worked better than what we had in mind, and it left less of a footprint in our backyard. He researched the type of staircase, came up with the one he thought was best, and presented the plan to us. He is a very reliable contractor and he does exactly what he says he will. He is imaginative, innovative, and dependable. He isn’t the cheapest but it ends up being cheaper in the end."

His price was well above another bid I ultimately accepted for another contractor using the same materials. His wait time to start the job was also much longer, which I took to be a sign that his work is very highly regarded by others. The only reason I didn't rate overall experience higher is that I couldn't afford the price he bid. <br />"

"Service and quality are excellent at Weber's Paint and Glass. Work was done in the time frame they said it was with everything ready for re-installing. <br /> I've had a number of things done there over the years at Weber's. They were so careful removing some of my mother's hand crafted stained glass from an old transom window and replacing it with regular glass so I'd be able to keep it when her house was sold. <br />"
