"Our business in real estate home development and rentals as well as vacation rentals we have had Mr. Wallace as our go to manager of the houses for all maintenance and replacement and repair work from many flooring installations, carpet installation, painting, drywall fixes, cabinet installations, kitchen custom hood installations, laundry and appliance machine installations, temperature controls for heating and cooling and smart locks, smart tv mounting and installations and so much more! He does pressure washing and an exceptional landscape pro as well. The handyman of all handyman you could hire! If he is available then grab him quick! He’s very excellent and exceptional in Tallahassee when good reliable and trustworthy workers seem hard to come by. !I can say of all the many contractors and handymen I have hired for our business and personally, he’s the only one I fully can rely on to do what he says and when he says and fair rate! "I had a tree leaning over the house that seem to be very very hard to cut down. I got a call from Lucius. He was referred by Angie’s list and I must say he did an awesome job. I have already referred him to someone else and would definitely use him again."

"My house entry door had long-standing wood rot in several places. I decided I'd better get a professional to fix that. I called Scott Purvis based on his homeadvisor.com ratings. Scott came over right away, looked at the door and made some suggestions as to how he would fix the door. I liked the plan, and hired him. Scott's work was excellent, he kept me advised all along the way and I am very pleased with the door as it is now."

"My experience was good and I am hiring them again. In the future, it will be in about 3 or 4 weeks. The price was reasonable, but I don’t remember actually what the price was. We got a couple of competitive prices and theirs was good. I am using them again. I don't remember how many people there were, maybe 5. They left the area clean, everything was good. The workers were nice and genuine. I'm looking forward to the next fence installation."

"G&S did a great job. This was an expensive undertaking, but well worth the price. The concrete pavers look great and will last and last, unlike my old wooden deck that was falling apart due to wood rot. Aaron and his crew worked very hard day in and day out for 4 solid weeks in 100+ degree heat. They are my heros! Thank you for a job well done!"

"I contacted Total Home Repair, asking for a quote to repair some wood rot on the exterior of my home. They were prompt and professional, providing me with a written estimate after we met. I accepted the estimate and the work began on the agreed upon day. When they showed up, they were ready to go! Wood had been pre-primed and they had all of the materials and equipment needed to do the job. No excuses of having to run back to the store or other unnecessary delays. Their work was of excellent quality, and I would highly recommend them for your project. Thank you, Total Home Repair, for a job well-done!"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Quincy, FL

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
