"All of these 5 star reviews got dumped on the Angi page, dated 2/2024. All show shiny basements & what appears to be excellent work & reviews claiming excellent communication. It's how I came about the referral - as well as their Facebook ads. Not sure if they bit off more than they could chew, but communication has been awful if not non-existent. The home visit seemed great! But I had to email them for the quote afterwords. Then a visit to the showroom a month later was dirty, plant dirt lying around, no bathroom available to the customers, giant weeds outside of the building they purchased. If you're presenting yourself as professional contractors, appearance of a showroom where you host customers is a reflection of your work. I didn't hear from them in over 4 wks. I emailed & was met with an excuse & zero delivery of promise for final proposal. We are taking our business elsewhere. We just wasted 3 months for nothing."

"MQ Painting was very professional in every aspect of the work they completed for us. They power washed every surface prior to painting. All surfaces were sanded or scraped as needed. Two coats of stain we applied to all surfaces. The garage doors were stripped, stained and varnished. The deck railings were completely replaced and painted on a very large deck. Originally, Jose thought only a portion of the railing spindles needed to be replaced. As the job proceeded it was apparent that all spindles and railing wood needed to be replaced. The only additional charge was for the materials, not for labor even though every spindle needed to be individually cut from larger pieces of lumber. MQ was the only painting contractor who bid on our paint job who was willing to do all the woodwork repairs needed on the deck. Other contractors said we'd need to have someone repair the deck and then they would paint it. We appreciated working with just one contractor. Their painting and carpentry work was top notch. All workers were neat, punctual and conscientious. All materials and tools were picked up and stored at the end of every work day. I discovered MQ Painting through Angie's List. I highly recommend MQ Painting and would absolutely hire them again."

"Greg was recommended to us 4 years ago by friends who completed their entire home gut reno project including extensive painting, so when it was time for us to do the same, we took our friends' recommendation to call him and are so glad that we did! We've been working with Greg and his team for the past 4 years on other painting projects at our prior home, but most recently (and extensively), he and his team painted the entire interior of our new home, which included all walls, ceilings, new crown moulding and new baseboards, as well as brand new interior doors throughout the home that were spray painted. They also painted the interior of our garage. This project was complicated by the fact that many of the walls had wainscoting, so his team had an extra level of detail to account for. Additionally, they worked around the schedules of other contractors who were completing a gut renovation simultaneously in the house and to make it even a little more complicated, we were also living through the whole renovation as it was happening. Greg and his team were the consummate professionals, working with us on scheduling, proving to be flexible and accommodating to our ever changing needs. Their attention to detail is something we are so grateful for. Additionally, they are just the most pleasant people to have working in our home, which is something we don't take for granted. They're so professional, very easy to communicate with and fair with pricing. We have several smaller projects on the horizon and will have Greg back to complete the painting portion of all of them. We've recommended Greg to several friends and neighbors (the neighbors were very keen on knowing all about Greg as they were so impressed with the work as it was happening). He arrived on time with his helper and completed the job in one day. His efforts included finishing the drywall, installing woodwork and painting and staining as necessary.
