"I went to Tractor Supply Company on Sunday June 27, 2010 to purchase a small tow-behind lawn spreader. There were two on the floor with both cartons previously opened. One of the cartons obviously had parts missing whle the other seemed to be intact. However, I did not want to make a purchase without knowing what I was getting. I went to the check out desk and asked for help. The lady at the desk immediately paged someone to come to my assistance. I waited some ten to fifteen minutes and no one showed up. I left the store. I then sent an e-mail to Tractor Supply Company Headquarters and complained of the shoddy treatment at the local store. I got a very nice e-mail from them stating that they wanted to get the situation resolved. On Tuesday, June 28, 2010 I went out of town and while I was away, the local store called. I returned their call when I got home. As the old saying goes, crap rolls down hill. The manager of that store had the person working in the back of the store on Sunday to call to "apologize". There was no asking me to return to the store so I might purchase what I wanted. Only, "I apologize". If this is how Tractor Supply resolves a complaint, rest assured, I will never enter that store again while it is managed by "Tina". She has no idea what management means and it appears that she has no willingness to learn."
