"Northern Exposure Landscaping did exactly what we wanted them to do and even faster than we thought they would do it. We just wanted them to cut it down. We cut it up and have it hauled away. We weren't home when they did it. We never met the owner or workers. A neighbor told me the tree was down. But that was perfectly fine."

"It went fine. They did a very good job. I pay them for the year but I think that it is around $78 or $80 for one application. The total for the year is $365 and that is with tax and everything. I cannot remember if that is for five or six applications. I went with them because they had done a few things for me and I liked the work that they did and just because of their reputation. I have tried and liked them so I have stayed with them for quite a few years now. They are very thorough in what they do and they will point out if there is a problem with something like if a tree looks bad or what might need to be done to keep the trees and shrubs healthy. The staff that comes out is very friendly. They are also very good about special requests, like I have a lot of bird feeders and stuff so I asked them to let me know if they are going to come so they always call the day before they are going to come to let me know that they are going to be coming to spray and stuff so that I can move my bird feeders."

"The overall process went smooth.  The fill dirt could have been slightly higher quality, it was quite rocky.  Overall it was a great experience at a fair price, I will likely be using them again this year. <br />"

"Curt gave us several good ideas.  For the time we spent together, he helped us rearrange our living room and gave us some ideas on how to decorate it.  We would use Curt in the future. <br />"

"While redoing a backyard concrete patio, we discovered that rain water from the downspouts was flowing towards the house and under the existing concrete patio. Before we put in the new patio, we wanted to fix the problem to avoid future "frost heave" issues with the concrete. <br /> La Rosa recommended we install an elaborate drainage system under the concrete before it was pored. The recommendation consisted of a number of PVC pipes and drains installed in the concrete that would connect to a PVC pipe running across the yard approximately 50 feet. That system installed was to cost $2234.86. <br /> Before the work was done, La Rosa changed their recommendation and did away with the elaborate drainage system under the patio and decided that a single PVC pipe going the 50 feet and connected to a downspout was all that was needed. They used a machine to dig the trench and lay the pipe. Took about 4-5 hours. Several pipe and concrete drains were eliminated from the design. <br /> I made the mistake of not getting an updated quote for the revised design before the work was done. I fully expected new price to be at most about half of the $2234.86. Instead La Rosa took approximately $200 off the bill. Much of the original design was eliminated in the revised plan and the bill was reduced by about 9 or 10%. <br /> Great quality but get everything in writing! <br />"

"The owner examined the property and found grading and drainage issues that the designer (a different company) had not built into the plan. The plan has since been revised (the designer was delighted that I had asked Stone Oak to bid) and hopefully this year (2012) we can go ahead. A new estimate will be needed, based both on the revised design and Stone Oak's research on new drainage products. The owner answers questions willingly, provides up-to-date info on new products - and keeps up on the industry in general. I've seen some of his installations - gorgeous - and they do the job."

"Bob did a fantastic job on our gravel driveway project! He scraped the driveway to get rid of the existing potholes, graded beautifully to ensure maximum water runoff, dug a few trenches to channel water away, and compacted the traffic bond/gravel for a very smooth finish. He was extremely professional and attentive to our requests. I will definitely be hiring Bob again for continued driveway maintenance and would HIGHLY recommend him to anybody!"

A water fountain increases home resale value by elevating curb appeal and enhancing overall property aesthetics.
