"I called Horizon after moving into a new home in Medway and having no idea what condition the chimney was in. They sent a team out the same day! The guys were great - very friendly and professional. They looked everything over, informed us that one chimney needed to be cleaned but the other did not, and some of the brick work was loose on the fireplace floor. I also requested a chimney cap and they suggested strengthening part of the chimney before installing. They provided an estimate within 24 hours and came out about a week later to do the work. Again, they were completely professional, pleasant and somehow despite cleaning the chimney and doing masonry work, did not create any dust or mess in the house. "Customer service, excellent to speak with on the phone. The owner showed up went up and said I needed $6000 worth of repairs for straightening one flu pointing and recapping with waterproofing. That chimney is easy access about 2 1/2 ft.²square. His coworker did the cleaning while he tried to get me to agree to a $6000 job and in the 15 minutes his coworker was up there I never received a visual inspection never was told anything about the condition of my sleeves, but I was told if I agreed he could do it for 5500 and then five and then 4500. I didn?t agree I paid him for cleaning and he left. Another company looked at it and said it was an $800 job. You decide if it was good to do a business with them."
