"There was nothing outstanding or horrible about this service. Overall the fence looks good and seems to be holding up well. My areas of concern were in the lack of communication and substandard workmanship. When I went to check on the progress of the install, the workers had installed a white vinyl panel that didn't match the neighbor's fence and they staggered it onto my property instead of continuing on their fence as I requested since I had permission from that property owner to do so. They blamed it on the lack of communication within the company, but I still don't understand why they wouldn't have questioned that the panel didn't match. In the end they returned that evening with the correct panel to finish installation. Other issues: not having all supplies on hand for installation, black finish on the fence was scraped up pretty bad in places like it had been dragged across concrete, and not filling the voids around the fence poles that were installed. <br />"

"That particular company had been getting a bad rep before we used them. We went ahead and used them and it was not an insurance claim and they did an excellent job. They're competitive and very comparable to everybody else in our area. They're not any more expensive, they're not any less. They do a really good job, what they promise to do, they do."

"Mike and Jody did a fantastic job. They were punctual and worked hard every day they were here. Mike listened to me and designed my new railing to fit my house and built it to last. I am very pleased with the work they did and will definitely refer them to my friends."

"Jake and his team are truly incredible. I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years, and NONE of them come close to the experience Parkstone provided. Every other contractor wanted to tear down my fence and start from scratch, but Jake quoted me for both costs: to repair or to replace. I opted to repair it to keep my costs down, and they went right to work. Showed up when they said they would, kept me updated on progress, and the pricing was fair. I was relieved at the start and thrilled at the end. Since having mine done, I think 3 or 4 of my neighbors have gotten them to do the same. Definitely coming back to Parkstone next time I need any work done on my house."

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Ray City, GA

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
