"I only give 5 stars for something exceptional. Dillon Lacomb and his crew (foreman Simon, etc.) deserve even more! To my husband and me, a new driveway and replacing a side strip of â yardâ (dirt and weeds) was a â smallâ job. Dillon, Simon, and his crew didnâ t treat it that way. To them, it was as important as the biggest job they worked. Simon and his crew were on time every day and put in the time and then some. For instance, our next-door neighbor was having problems with something digging holes in her yard. She saw Simon digging the first day and asked him if she could have some of that dirt. He not only agreed, he used the bobcat to cart it over and spread it on her ground where she needed it. Gratis. â All part of the job.â Not for a lot of people it wouldnâ t have been! Also, and this counts for a lot, Simon answered my questions without â talking down to the female.â How many male construction people do that? We are so pleased with the results that weâ ve hired Dillon, Simon, and the crew to repair the back yard patio, which will involve more than pouring concrete. Expect another 5+ star review then, too!! Canâ t recommend them highly enough!!"

"When looking for a custom home builder in the Redding area I came across Hughes Construction. The one thing that made me call him was other reviews on how well Shane communicates. I can say that I have had a great experience with Shane and that of all the subs that I have contacted for my custom home Shane was the best communicator of them all. It’s nice to have a contractor that wants your business enough that they keep you up to date with where they are in the bidding process. If anyone reading this is having problems staying in the loop with their contractor I suggest you call Hughes construction. You won’t be disappointed."

"Josh from Lindsay's landscaping was aerating our neighbors lawn.  He asked if we wanted ours done for $20.  He did the front lawn and then I asked him about the back lawn.  He said he would do it for another $10, but I told him he better look at if first.  It is probably at least twice as large as front lawn.  So he agreed to do it for another $20.  He did a great job.  He was very friendly and professional.  He got right to it and didn't waste any time.  I would highly recommend him.  He even gave me some advice on taking care of my lawn, which I really appreciated. <br />"

I obviously have damaged plywood. <br /> To further save money it was suggested that I obtain the permit. <br /> This all may be good for someone desperate to save money, but it is not what I had in mind. <br /> A little better communication on both our parts, may have produced a different result. <br />"
