"Very satisfied with cost and workmanship.  Original contact was to repair wind damage on shingled roof.  Unlike other roofing contractors I contacted, the response was fast.  The 40 plus years of experience showed as the temporary repair was done immediately without any hassle of cost.  The cause of the wind damage was shown and explained as improper nailing of shingles. To my surprise it was suggested, that because of a current materials special, it would be more cost effective to install a new metal roof over the old shingles rather than replacing the old shingles.  A new metal roof, with all of its advantages, cheaper than new shingles! <br /> I said I was interested, and they took a lot of measurements.  A couple days later I received an estimate via E-mail. I also asked about financing.  The only option was  like a credit card application (5% up front and high interest after 1 year).  After working out alternative financing from my bank, I then responded via E-mail to proceed.  They came out again and made more measurements. They wanted advanced payment for the materials with final payment upon completion. <br /> A couple weeks later the new metal roof install began.  It was a three man crew, they worked professionally, took their time and did it right.  The weather caused multiple delays extending the work over about 3 weeks.  The new roof is impressive, several people stopped by to ask for name of contractor. <br /> <br />"

"We had a problem with the weather and the shingles were in the driveway for 3 days. The crew arrived at 7:00 AM and they left at 7:00 PM.  Rodrigo and his crew were very clean and did a wonderful job. Jim and Tim Green were excellent to work with and I would recommend AMB roofing to anyone that needs a complete roofing job. We have many flowers and shrubs around the house and they took excellent care in not damaging them. They completed the job in 2 days <br />"

"Chuck and his crew are very professional and did their up-most to work around our schedule and the weather. They cleaned up every night before they left. They did the work in sections and made sure that the house was sealed in case of bad weather until the next day. <br /> He does have a special piece of equipment that they direct the old shingles directly into this container. The equipment was able to work around the flower beds and other plants so as not to destroy any of the plants or trees. <br /> During the removal process of the old shingles he found that there were three areas around 3 of the dormers (we have 4 dormers) where the flashing was not installed correctly and he replaced the rotten wood. Also it was noted that an upstairs bath vent was not venting outside (this was common when the house was built in 1999) and installed an outside vent and put additional insulation around the vent. The total extra cost for the extra work was only $170. <br /> We did get a copy of his insurance to make sure that all of his employees and himself were covered in case of an accident, as well as his state license number. <br />"
