We help with mapping for land development. We do Boundary, topographical, ALTA/ACSM, Construction, Monitoring surveys and anything related to land development. Our Professional Land Surveyor has 15 years of experience. We are a minority owned business.

"Hong is professional, responsive, very accommodate. Respond to my email/online request right away. Explained how the process work. Come next day to scope the work, listened to my requests/questions and walked me through the process. Came back on the set day with his team and did the survey professionally. Came back one more time to deliver the drawing. Overall what I appreciate the most from Hong is his patient and willingness to answer questions. He understand regulations and people needs well. If you are in need of a (boundary) survey and you are reading this, you are likely having lot of questions/concerns/emotions right now. Hong will provide you with more than just some marking on the ground and a some drawings."

"The initial work done was pretty ok. The major complaint is about communication. 1) Repetitively no call back was received even though we left voicemails. 2) the crew did not notify us when work was finished (2 times) even though specifically asked for (then try to leave voicemails with questions, there is no return call (see issue-1). 3) when we were told that the crew actually rang the doorbell, this was definitely not the case as we work in office next to the front-door. How does that work? Proper communication is important to us; as such cannot go higher than a C. Would not hire again, even though the final product (gutter install) was to our satisfaction."

With a staff of 55 and offices in Tacoma and Seattle, SSF provides structural evaluation and engineering services for clients throughout the Puget Sound. SSF’s resume is comprised of a wide variety of projects, including public (parks, community, community centers, libraries, fire stations and schools), multi-family/mixed-use, commercial/retail, faith projects, historic renovation and restoration, and single-family residences. Such an expansive range makes them uniquely knowledgeable about multiple structural systems and enables them to design the best long-lasting solutions.

"Disappointing experience with Holly from SSF. Original quote was $5400, ended up over $9000, which includes multiple corrections needed due to blatant errors and oversights made by the engineer. When alerting us of the original overage, Holly informed us that it was due to our roofing system being "more complex" than expected. Even with that admission, she didn't bother to confirm rafter sizes on the existing structure that needed to be tied into. This and a few other blatant errors cost us more fees (to them and the City for corrections) as well as valuable time on the project. The explanation is that having to go back and ask her for multiple corrections after plans were approved is "the most economical approach". We respectfully disagree and would recommend finding another engineer who values attention to detail and the customer experience more than additional billable hours."
