"As soon as I requested quotes on 9/16/2020, , Kim responded. She came to my house within two hours, and gave me an estimate. She was polite and professional, and told me about their warranty, and how their work would be superior to that done for my neighbor a few days earlier by a different contractor. She wrote the estimate, and said she would do the work on 9/19/2020. Today (9/19), I left a vm at 9 to see when they were coming. No response. I sent a message via HA at 10am. No response. I called HA at 10:45m, and they reached out to them and also gave me a different cell number. I texted. No response. Earlier this week I discovered that contractors must pay HA a penalty for failing to respond to leads. It appears that she just showed up to avoid the penalty, and was not serious about completing the work for the price that she quoted. Had I checked the reviews here earlier, I would have seen that none of them are newer than 5 years. My guess is that their business is sufficient that they no longer do HA work, which is fine, but then they should remove themselves from the referral process. I lost the morning waiting for them to show up, or to return my calls/texts. They not only wasted their time by showing up the first time, they wasted mine--twice, when they gave me what appears to have been a bogus estimate, with no intention of following through, and today, when they failed to show up."
