"Hail damage occurred in March of this year and I contacted Braswell Construction as well as 2 other local roofing companies. Chris Gaugler contacted me asap and came out to the house. The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. A week later I had a brand new roof with gorgeous colored shingles. Everyone in the neighborhood stopped by and literally knocked on the door to inquire. Chris Gaugler was onsite and available for questions anytime to the very end. The crew only took one day to do the house, extended 4 car garage and well house. Photos attached and it really makes a difference."

"We asked Bill to redo a dry-laid stone patio that a previous contractor had botched up, Bill was a pleasure to do business with. He showed up when he said he would and worked very hard to do a good job for us. We are very happy with the end result and I highly recommend him. We will definitely use Bill again in the future!"

"I contacted Jody to let him know the deck he built for us about 3 summers ago needed to be repainted. He let me know he had other jobs but would get back to us as soon as he could. A week or so later he notified me they (meaning him and his crew I thought.) would be over on Tuesday to start the job. When he came he brought a sub-contractor he used for painting jobs and the sub-contractor gave the deck a good clean, then said he would return the next day around 10:00 am as he had another job to go to first. The next day the sub-contractor did not show when expected and I texted Jody that he was not here as promised. Jody asked what time the sub-contractor was due and I told him 10AM. Well, it was almost 2pm before anyone showed up and the sub-contrator brought 2 helper with him. He showed them what to do and then left. They were to do a double coat on the entire deck. When they were ready to leave they said they did paint the deck itself several times as it dried, but only one coat on the railing and post as that was all that was needed. Herein is where my first problem came in that I was paying for 2 coats on the entire deck, and in my opinion when one says a double coat.. it doesn't mean going over where they painted a second time as they are still painting the first coat. A second coat means.... painting the entire deck... then repeat. Well, they splashed paint onto the house and left areas in between the deck boards undone, and got paint on the brick patio as well. The sub contractor was suppose to come back, but in the late AM Jody came by to supposedly finish the job. He looked it over, and left...then latter the sub-contractor came back and had another helper this time. They washed the paint off the house, and painted in between the boards and did a decent job. In the end the deck looks good, but we were not satisfied with the overall service and the price was too high. He doubled the price since we wanted 2 coat, even though it really took no more time. And they failed to do a second coat on the railings and post. He charged us $700 in labor and $190 for the paint. In our opinion he should have only charged about $700 at the most for the entire deck as that is what his sub-contractor told us he thought. He has yet to ever come and check the final job... This was the last time he will be asked to do any work for us."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Riceboro, GA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
