"Stampitcrete workers showed up on time and completed the job within 3 days as promised. This included prep, making an adjustment based on where the swim spa was going to go, laying the concrete, and clean up afterwards. The job was completed to a high standard that we are very pleased with. <br />"

"Absolutely fabulous service! Gave is an appointment to (not a block of time), arrived on time, polite, friendly, professional...I can not think of enough positive adjectives! It was a little costly, but worth the service. The technician had to blowout the dryer vent, and he fixed some faulty installation (without extra cost). He also replaced a elbow joint because they accidentally broke one (it is something we would not have noticed, but he was honest about it, and I so appreciate honesty). Definitely going to use them again."

"John did not complete the work he said he was going to do. He cited overrun costs as the reason he did not fix driveway as he said he would and finish french drain with river rock as he said he would do. He had to add a sump pump to the french drain. Landscaping was very well done. John's heavy equipment severely damaged our driveway and he has failed to return all my calls regarding the damage. Photos are available. He was fully paid for the work he completed. We believe he did not live up to his word. We agreed to "forget" the river rock but asked for our driveway to be repaired. We have not heard from John despite frequent calls to his office. Legal action has not been ruled out on our part."

"Mickey was fantastic. Alway on time and available no matter what time I called with questions or thoughts. He remodeled both bathrooms in my home and I love them. Even came by later to check up on whether I liked the end product and touch up some areas. Great personality and honest answers. I fully recommend him to do any work you need. I have already recommended him to work on my Aunts house. Can't say enough about his service. He offered to come back and give me pointers on any updates that I wanted to do as the homeowner so that it would be easier: tips and tricks."

"From initial contact to work completion, Mr. Powell and his crew were prompt, courteous, thorough and professional. He is a very experienced landscape designer and while we only asked that existing flower beds be cleaned and top soil added, Mr. Powell built into his estimate beds that were designed with low maintenance shrubs, flowers and trees. All our existing day lillies were removed, divided, planted in a new bed and mulched. The estimate was very reasonable and included a detailed list and cost of all plants. To water the new sod and plants, he installed an additional water valve and provided water timers. This made it possible for watering to be done automatically and required only a small amout of time for us to monitor. The grading of the two hills was done quickly and all the soil removed was placed in areas of the property where it was neeeded. The decorative blocks anchoring the driveways are exactly what we envisioned. His estimate was very close to the final cost. The cost difference was a result of an additional flower bed established at our request. All the work was completed in less than 5 days. We have waited several weeks to post this review because we wanted to report how the plants and other improvements are progressing. All plants and trees are still living. A couple of the nandinas that get a lot of afternoon sun have suffered some stress, but they are putting out new growth now. Most of the day lillies bloomed this summer. The sod is well established and has been cut several times. We have spent a great deal of time removing clover and another weed from the flower beds. We believe these may have been brought in with the pine straw mulch, but we do not believe Powell Nursery could have done anything to prevent this infestation. In the future we would probably select another type of mulch. We cannot say enough about Mr. Powell's great crew. They are experienced, efficient, courteous, accommodating to our requests, and they work very hard. These changes and additions designed and installed by Mr. Powell and his crew made a tremendous improvement to our front yard and we are very pleased with the work. We would definitely ask for landscaping help from Powell Nursery of Pine Mountain and Mr. Powell again. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Richland, GA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
