"Great work, full roof replacement with various vents needed. Showed up early, worked hard all day long on the hottest day of the summer so far. Clean up was careful and thorough. Could not be happier. Wonderful all around thank you Manny and his crew!"

Small jobs welcome

My name is Jay Scannell and I enjoy cleaning and making things spotless. My mother always made sure our house was clean as I was growing up and naturally I have liked to follow those similar footsteps and take it that one step further. I’d enjoy cleaning for you and your family if need be and I am open to anything you throw at me:).

"They care. And it is obvious. I would recommend them 1000 times over. I started my search for a roofing contractor during the pandemic and was universally unimpressed with the bulk of contractors who came to estimate the job. That is, prior to meeting Gabe and the folks at Top Notch. Not only are the competitively priced, but they send an actual roofing expert out for estimating, as opposed to a salesman. I immediately felt was in good hands as he answered all my questions with authority and knowledge. On the job site, the crew was clean, polite, and professional. We did have a few hiccups along the way, which as anyone who has ever done renovation can tell you, is par for the course. These specific hiccups were discontinued products and shipping damages that were simply accidents. Just bad luck that had nothing to do with Top Notch. But it was their reaction to the situation that really won me over. Gabe, the foreman, and Jessica went above and beyond to come to my house on multiple weekends to install skylights because that is the kind of business they operate."

"Jim and his team have always done a great job for us, whether we needed a small patch job done on our old slate roof or a complete replacement of worn out shingles. They are a friendly team with excellent attention to detail from start to finish - the lawn around our house is always clear of nails and debris when they're done. And every job has been right on the estimate, so you know you're going to get quality for a fair price."

"It went great we called Mark on Saturday afternoon and he called us back on Sunday morning and he was onsite Monday afternoon to do the work. Which for VT is incredible, usually you call and then 4-5 days later you might get a call back and then cross your fingers someone shows up. <br /> Super nice guy and honestly I have been singing him praises everyday since for coming and helping us out with what really wasn't a big job (the job was just located in a really bad spot that if you don't like steep roofs you probably wouldn't have done it either) but he just jumped (I should say climbed in) and went to town. <br /> I would recommend Mark to anyone and I look forward to working with him again. <br /> Thank you, Mark it was much appreciated!!!! <br />"

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in Richmond, VT

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
