His fee was reasonable, especially when compared to a few others. He was very accommodating setting the day and time to suit my schedule. We stayed in touch that day and arrived on time and quickly did the job. He wasted no time, came fully equipped and tidied up after. He was very professional and pleasant. "The first words that come to mind are: professional and pleasant. For the first job, Lucas provided a very reasonable estimate (much lower than another company that we called) . When the job was performed, there were some unforeseen glitches that caused the job to be much more involved than originally thought. He worked through the problems with ease and did not charge us for the extra time it took to complete the job. New panel is great and working well. The second job was much less involved, but still done efficiently and is working great. We are planning to have AVA back to install lighting in our living room. AVA has proven to be reliable, responsive and reasonably priced, I would highly recommend them for any electrical repairs or installations."

"Ivan and Roman did an absolutely amazing job with the lighting for my apartment. They installed a chandalier in the hallway, a nice lighting fixture and a dimmer switch in the bedroom, and a ceiling fan in the dining room. I was really happy when they told me that they would be able to install the dimmer in my bedroom, something that my grandmother's handyman had told me previously (without even looking at the wiring in the bedroom) would not be possible due to my building's old wiring. When Ivan and Roman were finished with each installation, they asked me if it was to my liking before moving onto the next one and if I wanted something changed a little (ex. the height of the chandelier) they were glad to do so. Also, they were very precise and neat while working. I'm so happy with how everything turned out and I would definitely recommend them!"

"Hired John to repair an exterior light fixture. I didn’t want to replace it, and John was able to replace the socket in the fixture. He didn’t push me toward costlier services than I needed. He was quick and had all the parts handy. I also hired him to assemble and install a ceiling fan (replacing a light fixture). He offered a few options for how to wire it and control it from light switches, with remotes, etc. The final choice worked fine and it’s running well with no wobbling. I will hire him again to install a fan in another room, and other electrical projects when needed. (I didn’t rate him on price because I didn’t compare prices before hiring him — I hired him based on his reputation, and am glad I did.)"

I ended up paying an additional $100 for the work. Instead of basing the time that the technician was there, they base it upon the time they have already assigned for lighting installation jobs. One technician came out for the work and was there for about an hour and a half. Most of time was spent analyzing the job and writing out an estimate and pitching having them re-do my entire electrical system. The job of installing and replacing the lighting fixtures did not take long at all. I had thought that I wouldn’t even use the full $299 included in the deal for the work. They did a professional job on the work and the lights work fine."
