"This was one of the best experiences I've had over the years working with a contractor. I called Murphy's to discuss a patio re-design and Ryan met my wife and I at our house to discuss the same day. He is obviously very experienced in building patios. In discussing, he understood exactly what my wife and I had in mind and offered great insight. He gave a detailed estimate in less than 2 days. We were on their schedule the very next week. Ryan and his crew pretty much finished the entire project in 3 days! It was pretty amazing to see how insanely fast those guys worked. Day 1they re-located our existing "patio" (basically just some shale), excavated, laid the form for the concrete, and set the posts for the pergola. Day 2 they poured concrete and removed/hauled away our old deck. Day 3 they built the pergola, fire pit, and laid sod where the deck used to be. And it looks awesome! I would definitely use Murphy's again. Very pleased. <br />"

"Ambiance Landscape arrived promptly (7:30am) on the morning they began work. This is my third french drain I have had Ambiance install for me. They hand dug the sod due to sprinkler lines. Installed the french drain and relaid the sod. Did a very good job. <br /> <br /> Next they set up a very old, antique, stone fountain which consisted of 3 pieces. Ambiance dug out a rose bush and other vegetation in order to place the fountain in the corner of my backyard. They set the fountain on stepping stone and made sure it was balanced correctly. Since I did not want to hook it up as a fountain, they drilled holes in the large area where the water would collect for me to use as a place to plant ivy, etc. <br /> <br /> Adjusted my sprinkler heads; set time for sprinkler to turn on and set length of time each zone should run. <br /> <br /> I have used Ambiance Landscape for many, many years and have always been very pleased with their professionalism and willingness to help me in all aspects of my projects."

Clearly he did not want to do the work, quoted high hourly rate for landscaping with no indication of outcome for money, and $40k for erosion control. Rec’d a quote from another company for same erosion control for $4k."

"Working with Mr. Benton and his team was a pleasure. Mr. Benton kept me informed, worked with us on the best start date and arrived when promised. Their workmanship was excellent and their concern for working with the customer extended to doing some work that went above and beyond what was agreed to. Specifically, we had a drainage issue onto the patio caused by a humped area. Mr. Benton graded that area -- eliminating the drainage problem -- at no extra cost. For the larger slab he had to design forms that curved around the corner of the house and a crepe myrtle. He did so, and so well that  my neighbors have commented on how good the area looks with the curve around the corner of the house.  <br /> Two months on we find the slabs look great, drain properly and have improved our property. Our experience with him was excellent and I gladly give Mr. Benton my highest recommendation -- I'd hire him any time. <br />"

"Michael and his crew were here on time, did their work, cleaned up after themselves and came back regularly for the following two weeks or so to check on the plants. Michael has spent several hours since the job was completed teaching us how to care for some of the plants and how to get the healthiest lawn. He seems to delight in customers who want to learn and in sharing his knowledge. Working with Michael was one of the highlights of building our house. He loves his work and when I saw him on his bulldozer grinning like a kid while pushing dirt around, I couldn't help but wish everyone could like their work this much."
