He took pictures in the attic so he could show me what was going on in the attic. he said the leak was definitely the vent pipe flashing. he called me the next day with a quote. He had to look around on the internet for this flashing because of the size, but he found a good one that matched. I was in no rush and he called for a time to come by and fix the flashing.
