"Mr. Cliff is truly a rare plaster artisan and a remarkle contractor. Nowadays, ornamental plastering and the associated skills are rare, especially at a reasonable price. With the proliferation of  sheetrock building material, many homeowners are simply forgoing the high cost of plaster repair/renovation, which is a mistake, given that there are many reputable contractors such as Mr. Cliff, who still offer competitively priced plaster work at a very high level of quality.
 
My family and I have been working with Mr. Cato Cliff since 1989.  We have never been disappointed  with the quality of work and professionalism Mr. Cliff has exuded in those 26 + years. Since the late 1980s, Mr. Cliff has provided top quality renovations to many plaster walls and ornamental moldings in our Bedford Stuyvesant brownstone. Our most recent project involved restoring a plaster ceiling molding in one of our second floor bedrooms that was damaged due to an upstairs water leak. Mr. Cliff masterfully removed the damaged plaster molding, created a custom wood based molding as a cast to fabricate the replacement, and then plastered everything within four days.
As always, the process was seamless from the inital estimate to the final cleanup. Mr. Cliff always provides excellent suggestions for home improvement, too, so my suggestion is to always leverage his vast experience if you want a trusted and knowledgeable source for home improvement ideas.  Mr. Cliff also advises his clients on plaster care so that his work lasts even longer. 
I cannot overemphasize how wonderful Mr. Cliff has been to our family in the past 26 years. And, yes, all of his plaster and carpentry work still remain in excellent condition even decades later.
