Customers say: Quality work

"We really enjoyed our experience with HL Design. Dave put time and effort into his initial proposal. His proposal was very detailed with additional recommendations to enhance the overall look of our hardscaping. This far exceeded any proposal we received. The price was very reasonable and he even through in some additional azaleas. They started right away once we decided on the pavers and the project was completed in three full days. Project was well done and they cleaned up the site afterwards, replanted grass, and we were very pleased with the entire project. "

"I recently hired Hawkins Landscaping to install interlocking pavers for my patio and walkway, and I couldn?t be happier with the results. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, and paid attention to all the details that really make the project stand out. The new hardscape completely changed the look of my outdoor space ? it feels both polished and inviting now. They helped with the design, explained the process clearly, and made sure everything was level and built to last. Pricing was fair for the quality of work, and they finished on schedule. If anyone is looking for dependable and professional hardscape services in Frederick, I highly recommend Hawkins Landscaping."

"CVT did a great job removing one tree and trimming another large tree. They also ground the stump down on the removed maple tree. What I was most impressed by was their professionalism. From start to finish. The cleanup after the tree work was absolutely top notch. I highly recommend them!"

"We recently had our asphalt roof replaced by ARHT Home Solutions. We have been very happy with the process. Widman Calderon was well organized and knowledgeable about the process and the selection of the roofing materials. He kept us informed of each step of the process and their craftsmanship is superior. The job was well done with great communication and responsiveness, hard working installers. My neighbors could see how efficient they were when they looked outside their upstairs windows, watching them work. He/they made the process of getting a new roof effortless. Widman showed us photos throughout the roofing process. Their transparency shows that they are not here to take advantage of the customer. There was no pressure. The job was completed in one day, We received other quotes and selected ARHT. We couldn't be more pleased with the roofing services provided by ARHT Home Solutions! We even discussed replacing our siding with them - in the future. I give them a 5+ rating"

"Hired them to do a BGE home energy audit, and Larry Tennant performed this for the company. This included an inspection of the attic insulation which resulted in a lot of ceiling drywall essentially coming off the joists, multiple nails popping through the paint. I was really unhappy with this new problem, since what was supposed to be a $100 energy audit now led to damage that would cost several hundred dollars to repair. From Larry's point of view, the ceiling drywall likely had pre-existing problems making it vulnerable to damage from the inspection, something he had no way of knowing. After a lot of discussion, Larry contributed $500 toward the costs of fixing the ceiling, a reasonable compromise for both parties since the drywall already appeared to have pre-existing issues. Through the experience, he was professional, responsive, and was 100% committed to finding a mutually agreeable solution months after the audit was completed. Even though I would have rather never gone through the experience, I have the highest level of respect for Larry's integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. I would gladly hire him again if we needed his services again."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Rocky Ridge, MD

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
