"We had a very tall Monterey pine tucked in the far back corner of our yard. They estimated two and one half days. It was about 30 inches in diameter at the base and maybe 100 ft. tall. With a crew of two they they assembled their necessary rope hoists, and cut off branches 10 ft at a time, carefully lowering the pieces to the ground where the other second guy sawed and piled them. At the end of the job, they used a bob-cat to remove the large logs to their truck. The less longer branches were dragged out and chipped. Afterwards they cleaned up all the chipped and smothed the surfaces when they left. Good as new except for the stump which they left (we decided it was not worth the effort and cost to try to get a stump chipper back to that location. This pine would have wrecked our house if it toppled in a strom (which pine tree often do), Cost was 2 - 3 thousand dollars. <br /> Other times they have done just a quick cleaning of dead oak branches high in the trees. 10 - 15 trees, half day, $350."

"We had landscaped our backyard 2 1/2 years ago.  Gophers have slowly (and not so slowly in the last few weeks) been tearing up our lawn and flower beds.  We have tried high frequency sound mechanisms, bombs, and poison---- without results (would only slow them down for a few weeks).   A representative from Gingrich came last Fridayt  surveyed the area, and set 6 traps.  John, the owner came this morning (Monday) and pulled up the traps----- and there they were --- two big, well fed gophers!!!  We know this isn't the end of our problem forever but we are so pleased to have stopped the damage for now.  (Gophers work singularly and in territories, so feel we are fine for the time being).  I would recommend Gingrich to anyone who wants results.  They are prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.  They are a little pricey.  But as they say "You get what you pay for"!! <br />"

"Response to original call was prompt and communication regarding when and what services would be performed has been clear. Jeff has arrived when he was scheduled and has performed needed tasks efficiently and completely. Cost is reasonable and fair. I had one small criticism after the first visit and when I relayed this to him, he listened carefully and made a special effort to check the area of concern on his next visit and fix the problem. "Overall my experience was very positive. I called Ramon Rosas about coming over and giving me an estimate on lawn service for the front and back yards. We made an appointment for him to come right over. Ramon looked over the front and back yards, he checked out the sprinkler control box in the garage, as well as both boxes that contain the sprinkler valves in the front and back yards. Ramon concluded that both valves might need to be replaced. We discussed that the grass in the back really needed to be replaced. We also discussed that my three trees in the front and side of the house needed trimming and that he could also provide that service. <br /> <br /> I recalled from the profile that Ramon also provided handyman services, we spoke about this and I indicated that I would need that type of service within the landscape and that would be able work on other projects in the yard such as repairing the gate, replacing the mailbox, outside lighting, etc. <br /> <br /> Once Ramon finished his overall assessment he quoted a price for weekly and monthly lawn service for the front and back yards which I agreed to service for twice a month. The estiamte includes cutting the front and back lawns, weeding, repairing/replacing sprinklers as needed, trimming shrubs, and fertilizing. He also gave me additional estimates for trimming the trees, replacing the back lawn with sod, repairing the busted sprinkler system pipe along the back fence, and replacing the sprinkler valves in the front and back yards. Ramon also was very easy to speak to and had a pleasant personality. <br /> <br /> Once I agreed to Ramon's fee for the monthly lawn service I was very impressed when he repaired several of my broken sprinkler heads in the front lawn on the spot. Subsequently, I did call Ramon on the telephone to inform him that I was not ready to commit to the tree trimming service or replacing the sod in the back yard just yet and would let him know when I was ready. At this time I have only agreed to the front and back yards monthly lawn service; and informed Ramon that I would let him know when I was ready to proceed with the other projects. <br /> <br /> I am pleased so far, and think Ramon was very responsive, punctual, and professional, and I look forward to continuing to use his lawn service."

"Powergreen had a coupon in a local coupon book. I called and scheduled them to come out between 9-noon on Sunday. At 10 AM Barry phoned to say he was running late and would get to my house around 1 PM. At 11:30 he called again and said he would make it before noon after all. When they got to my house, Barry checked the sprinklers with a rain suit on, and put flags by each sprinkler. The young men did front and back yards at the same time, and were done in less than 1/2 hour. They were very polite and professional. When they were through, Barry gave me a checklist on lawn care. I asked if I should call back in 6 months. He said he'd send me a flyer to remind me, but if my lawn still looked good to save my money."
