"Angel and his team did a great job on my backyard! Here are a few reasons my project went well and why I'd recommend Angel to others. - Angel was incredibly responsive. He'd respond the same day any time I reached out. When there were delays due to bad weather, he’d proactively let me know so I didn't have to wonder whether someone would be working that day. - Angel was able to install sod + mulch as well as a patio, many contractors only do one or the other and it was far more convenient only needing to hire one company. - Angel provided a detailed project plan which really helped visualize what the final product would look like. This was also very helpful for my HOA. - Angel provided me with several different options for things like grass, mulch, rocks, etc… and thoroughly reviewed the pros and cons of each potential selection. - The total price was reasonable, the work was done efficiently, and I'm really happy with the way my lawn turned out."

"I did not use them. They patched the holes, but charged me a ton of money to do it. To be fair it was only temporary, but did it in a very shoddy way. I asked for a bid for the permanent fix and they sent me an email with no official paper work saying it would be "about $2,000" (which was way out of line). Poor customer service."

"My insurace company would not insure a house I was moving to because it was unknown the age of the roof. I called Advanced roofing and told them that I needed to have a roof inspected for an insurace policy. We made an appoitment for March 31st to have the roof inspected. I was delited when Darin called me the same day and said that he had looked at the roof and would send me a description of what he found. I was able to forward the letter to my insurance comapny to get the process started of getting a policy for the home. <br /> I will not hesatate to call Advanced roofing in the future for any roofing problems or questions that I have. <br />"

"They did an amazing job and so fast, took them only two days to come out and get it done. Their customer service was fantastic! They gave us complete, and clear instructions on how to keep our lawn looking great and they were the lowest price in our area. I will defiantly hire them again if we need anymore landscaping needs, and I would defiantly recommend them to others that need help with any of their lawn needs."

"Mike Dinkel (owner) arrived at our house within one day of being called to discuss our needs, look over the system, determine what needed to be fixed, and make suggestions for improvements.  He gave us a verbal quote that day, which we approved, and he and his crew returned within 3 days to complete the work.  They came when they said they would, did what they said they were going to do, and the final cost was as estimated.  They were friendly and professional. <br />"

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Roggen, CO

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
